ok, shop name noted and totally banned!!  vmad.gif  brows.gif

does ur phone shows System Error everytime u wanna search for WLAN networks? Pls describe ur prob in more detail so we can understand ya. Perhaps try to play around with the connection settings manager and see if ther's anything wrong with the settings. However, by right ur new phone shudnt have such problem, u shud seek help frm ur supplier regarding this problem when u went and bombed them..hehe.
*
hahaha.

only sometimes nia, when phone is idle (which means i m not using it and not incoming calls). It shows "system error" when i try to search for WLAN. when it shows, u can only click "OK". but it stil there. i hvae to switch off the fon and restart. if the error occurs before i go confront him, then i can tell him wat's wrong. but it only happens after that. sad.gif i told him the fon lag, he said symbian fon is like that, i need to off and restart every 3-4 days. :| before buying he said system stable, after buying he said system lag. before buying said fon is original and authorised distributor, after buying said fon is original (still) and is from one of the authorised AP distributor... so far no other problem, i try to forget this by liking my fon more. hahaha. white is nice!

i will not go back to the supplier liao, oledi "fan mian". no need to bomb liao lah, useless.

hmm, while purchasing the fon, one guy approach me and selling this cheap IDD fon service to me. it's call UNOS (www.unos.com) and we can install this software. whever go oversea, we can get a local simcard and divert the call to this local number. free sms btw unos users. cheaper IDD rate/ receiving call. can check it out. but, i think GPRS charges still apply when opening the software and get connected? not too sure.

You mean the one where they're selling the E66 at RM1,399 and you'd have to pay RM 150 a month and sign a 24 month contract?

Nope, I don't think it's worth it. The difference in selling price between this, and the price you pay without having to bind yourself to a 24 months contract is too minimal! A E66 Ori set is selling at around RM 1,6xx now.

tech gadgets price will always drop, but it always depends on the demand:availability ratio. But I doubt that E66 and E71 prices will drop fast, perhaps after Christmas kua. Take N82 for example, its price is still so stable after years in the market due to the demand..

I've seen the n85 and n79 in MidValley..looks so nice in the photos but the actual phone is kinda a disappointment..

oic....but when u keep it on, it still charge rite?....after lock the position....
*
Nope, it only charge you per locking session. As long as you're locked on there's no more data packet transferred. BUT...if let's say halfway driving and your signal with the satelite got lost, another locking session will be activated automatically. When that happened, you will be charged again.

Thanks for the info... but games on the phone is mainly to kill time while in the toilet or shopping with my wife. biggrin.gif I'm planning to get a PSP instead of thinking into considering N-gage phone.

depends actually, personally I've faced some reali disappointing experience with ORI distributors. This is my third AP phone and I'm reali happy with their service actually. My advice would be try and go for good AP like First Choice or Comsat..

Bro,

is the Killer Mobile Blackballer software a filter list for ur contacts? If u wanna prevent some guys (or gays in ur case brows.gif ) to reach u, u can use the built-in Advanced Call Manager to filter the numbers which u wan to kill.

Thr are some software which only works with genuine certificates so perhaps u'll have to find some ways to "sign" ur software on the net.

u cant blame the seller actually..its all in the factsheet of Nokia E66 and the features are also stated in the reviews posted in the main page. Perhaps its best to do some comprehensive research before purchasing the phone.
