do you think the Chinese trust Malaysian cars - especially POTONG

lets see the car in action without the label and most importantly

IMHO many of the worlds electronic and heavy industry equipment have some Chinese component

Honestly what is worst than a "Potong" interms of Quality, Consumption, Resale Value and etc..... New brands/models from competitors are good as it will benefits us. I think we should bench mark it with our national "pride" kereta "Potong" rather than Toyota, Honda, Nissan or Continental brands as the $$ bracket is the same with "Potong"...

are you sure you "makan" (define makan pls ) all the mpv you mentioned above?!

2.4 litre only produce 127 horsie(stock) ? even wish 1.8 can pwn you easily... 1.8 already produce 132 horsie(stock)....

plus the kerb weight for Cherry MPV = 1505kg , wish only 1300kg kerb weight , more 200kg+ man..

i was thinking da same too... makan means potong i think.. can overtake those mpvs.. i think its not because theyre not good, they chose to drive slowly..

yeah man.... mpv meant to be people carrier... if want to race might as well drive a sedan or hatchback ...

so kenyang la the chery mpv.. makan others. btw i personally thinks that the chery mpv lacks in quality. it looked good in pictures but the real thing is not as good.. the trimming looks very cheap. cheaper than the one in proton i can say.. yes, they introduce luxury in their interior but when you see the real thing, the wood trimmings feels and looks cheap.. the surface of the wood trimming is not silky.. just my opinion..

for mpv i think the torque is more important, and 198 at 3000rpm i reckon is a good figure...

makan wsih 2.0 can .........

ok... saw the diffrences already... Chery Mitsu 4G64 engine indeed has better torque compare to japan MPV..

service cost for 20K is totally free la.....for 1st 1000 customers they are using AGIP engine oil meh....done my 1st 1000km service ....they change AGIP engine oil and chery oil filter......so no need to worry on service fee.....TOTALLY FREE.....and comes with 3 year warranty.....

FC so far RM 100 = 450KM long distance .....to east coast ....

town RM 100 = 380 KM....at RM 2.45 a liter....now will more cheaper and more distance laaa...

BTW my right foot is so 'heavy' lo.......tiptronic maniac......

Will get my car next week, Sapphire Silver....so called from the SA. Anyway, anyone know how much it need for a leather trimming (Penang/KL). Alado quoted at RM4500 for leather trimming and NGV for RM7000.
