Enigma, had you tinted your car yet? my car will be delayed for delivering, SA just confirm, anyone in this forum had this problem? ... so sien, maybe some problems at the manufacturer plant

Added on October 22, 2008, 8:29 pmtinted already ......shah alam ....all except front ....a bit of black tinted in front to cover tha dashboard from sun .....also buy a nonslip mat at RM 35 and cut it accordingly ......the last two glass I tinted black .....rear and the rest normal tinted....sure JPJ no kacau ......if not leceh ......

if you go for tinted....the accessory guys sure will break your door panel clips......sure one....but dont worry they will replace them......and pls dont ask them to measure and cut the film on your glass......mine already scratch to their negligence....thats why i ask them discount ......nak marah pun tak guna ......

please choose a professioanl tinted master......next time i can open the door panel myself....so easy .....

first I learn ....then I DIY ....same as I install myself tonite my sun visor 7inch DVD ......senang meh.........

on your booking and car.....have to q ???? i think ....lots of people already booked this chery la.......nasib baik I dapat dah .......tomorrow might go for allignment ...........

how much you pay for the tinted? where? the specs? maybe I will not used the one quote by SA, damn $$$ 2k plus and some more threaten that the warranty will void if installed at outside tinted shop ...

They also realized that without quality, the deal they signed with Chrysler LLP won’t lead anywhere.

To make its next new model, the A3 mid-sized sedan, a fine product, Chery has repeatedly postponed its launch. Meanwhile, with Chrysler’s request help, Chery is making consistent improvements to the vehicle that it plans to sell in the United States with a Chrysler badge.

Also, Chery’s joint venture project with Israeli investment company Quantum is well underway. The new venture mainly targets the international market.

Chery is also cooperating with more global suppliers, such as ArvinMeritor and Continental, for high quality parts.

True, Chery may be still a thousand miles from becoming a world-class player. But the company is making progress.

Chery put four new models into sales in the first nine months of 2007. But no new model has been launched since.

Hey bro, you bought from Chery branches or dealers? If dealers, sure slow a bit. I should be getting mine next week.

Today I went to submit some documents and what I saw on their sales board was 19 MPV sold since Oct 16 in their Jalan Ampang showroom alone. Not bad for a new brand within 6 days. We are sure going to see more on the roads soon.

Last nite I took out all the MPV brochures I took since early this year and really like what I compared:

It is the widest compare to the others above. That means good comfort for passengers.

Why I didn't compare with Wish, Serena, Stream, Grandis, Estima, Elgrand, Alphard? Because those were above RM110k models. So it's not within my budget or for those seeking below RM90k MPV.

btw, when i passed by your car yesterday, i found out you slapped mitsubishi label on your car..? why? and you sounds like you hate japanese mpv so much? they are quite good too.. my family use nissan elgrand 3.5 since 2005 and its a good mpv.. just some opinions here..

i'll pass since it was a china made car.. even if he put on a skyline r34 engine on it

who says I'm anti Jap cars ???Mitsu is my idola.....always be.....at least chery didnt change the mitsu logo on the engine head cover unlike Proton during their early years where design and engine comes from Mitsu .....saga / iswara / wira etc .....and also chery MPV has its own unique design ......if they copy direct from Grandis...or wish .....then you can curse them for copy it right......

Anyway your pocket and my pocket has lots of different meh.....can't afford estima or Grandis or even nissan Elgrand .....or even merc.......

Lucky my choice rather than buying recon estima or 2nd hand Airtrek .....at least I have a brand new MPV .....already test drive nissan livina .....and also my wife has agreed on this chery .....her blessing is good for me.......

On the Mitsu emblem ......cant help ....I'm a die hard fan of Mitsu ......sorry if hurts someone.....or irritate somebody .......so in love with Mitsu .....cherry my choice ....my pocket .....my risk .......

if wait for AFTA ......dont know if I got grandchildren can buy cheap import cars .......

Hey Chery lovers,

I see that the Chery Eastar MPV has a CD + MP3 player with 6 speakers. Just wanna ask if you guys have tried inserting a MP3 player (not thumb drive) into the USB slot and playback the songs inside? Work or not?

BTW, how the 6 speakers quality? Solid bass?

MP3 disk working .....USB also have !!! sound is bassy enough !!!! ....no need to tweak .....just like my previous waja .......better of course !!!!........

I not sure whether it have an AV output so just connect to the TFT monitor or DVD s cable .....I DIY install my DVD sun shade player ...with DC connection ....no problem ......just a wire need to hide under the pillar .....perhaps later if got time will install direct .......though ....I'm not live in the MPV 4 ever.....weekend ride only mehhhh.......

for me its a Budget MPV with enuff power and size for a family of 2 adults 3 kids and a maid..........

have to get one of those
