dvinez,
Some tips on this problem that I encounter before: 1) Set the phone to General profile (not silent or customized) 2) When fail, follow the exact steps to take out batt, etc. 3) Preferably, take out the SIM card and Memory Card (if any) 4) When you connect to PC on different USB port, sometimes it detect as #2, #3. Make sure plug into the first port without the # 5) Do no use USB cable extension. Direct use CAxx-xx cable from PC USB -> phone USB

QUOTE(NewbieHero @ Feb 9 2010, 10:47 PM) hi, i have recently purchased a nokia n95 8gb for the gps function it provides. i followed every step in the internet very carefully and has the garmin XT thing installed succesfully. however when i tried to use it, it just shows a message saying 'Awaiting better GPS accuracy'. i reach my destination oso the message is still there, no results at all. anyone has the same problem with me? cant seem to figure out the matter out le T_T before start routing, stand under clear sky for 10-20 minutes and see. worse case scenario stand 1/2 hour. if kenot then buy original.
