navigation rule #1, listen to voice recognition first. visual is only for confirmation.

That's the rule I'm currently practiced. But my aging eyes can't perform the second option if the screen is too small. sweat.gif

Yes, you can browse through the map but it can't show your current position and you can't do navigating with it.

Sorry I just need to reconfirm, because currently 4 type of touchscreen from Nokia. N97 (can use garmin), Nokia 5800xm (can use garmin, my wife using it), Nokia 5530xm (confirm no gps and no 3g) and Nokia 5230 (With 3g and I see the spec it come with A-GPS from Nokia homepage). So I wondering A-GPS is a build in GPS or really need to get BT gps. Because I plan to replace my hp with Nokia 5230 if can use garmin too. Thanks.

Oh my bad...I din check the spec earlier thinking all downgraded touch screen other than N97 & 5800 are withoit built-in gps chipsets..opsss

If have GPS chipset for sure can run the navigation part of Garmin & other GPS softwares as well such as OVI maps, Racechrono, & more..

ah mix, i played with X6 yesterday on the way home and guess wat, upon reaching home,

"....arriving at your favourite destination, its on the <direction> side. voice navigation ends."

finally, they added that simple but useful portion.

Saru..replied your PM..I'm not into windows CE version. Me only into Symbian & Windows Mobile.

Try search inside both malsingmaps & malfreemaps forum relating to windows CE.

Futhermore, this thread is only for symbian.
