Well, I don't agree on this "dirty" part.
It is an agreement whereby both parties agree, the seller doesn't force you to buy in the first place.
I bought my DiGi prepaid number for RM 50 with RM 30 pre-reloaded credit and RM 20 for the number. I'm super happy with the number as it is a VVIP number, I have tried asking those VVIP sellers how much does my number worth today, they said more than RM 300.
Oh yeah, it has then converted to postpaid, using it and will not change even I switch to other telco. smile.gif

Everyone works for the sake of 3 meals, it is just what we called as "business". smile.gif

Sorry for my short post on that issue.

Let me put it this way (though not directly comparable). When the big G raised the petrol price by 80 cents (78 to be exact), the user still willing (and agree) to pay RM2.70 for a litter of petrol. Does that make the big G free from any sin? Or does that make them an angel or something?

Maybe be you are feeling lucky and perhaps you are lucky. But what about others?

The petrol case is kinda a "forced" case if you ask me, either you are happy or not you still have to use it. smile.gif
It is kinda unfair to compare to DiGi Campus isn't it? laugh.gif
Anyway, I apologise if I get our discussion heated up (on this thread and DiGi thread), not intentionally but just merely voicing up my opinion. smile.gif

That is why I said "(though not directly comparable)".

To bring things more closer to home, let us take a look at retail stores. Most of the time they sell goods at the RRP (recommended retail price) and of course some of the time (in some of the store), they do sell goods a bit above/below the RRP. Long story short, majority of them still can live a quality life while selling goods at RRP. So why are we still need 'devil' kind of prepaid retailer?

I can understand if the prepaid retailer get their prepaid (nice number) from telco through open tender, like they do with car registration number. And if they can still make money from a nice number that you get from an open tender, then no body will complain. But not when they get the number cheap (relatively?) but sell it at an exorbitant price. It is all about fairness that I'm talking about here, not trying to argue about any other thing with you all nice forumer.

Sorry if I have accidentally use inappropriate words towards any of you during the discussion.

Yeah, understood. smile.gif As long as everyone is happy, I guess that's the most important part. Just don't care where the source comes from. smile.gif

Nah, I was way sarcastic than you. tongue.gif Anyway, we make friends here and not enemies! rclxms.gif

There are some freebies that ought to expire by 31st Dec 2009. smile.gif

DiGi no longer offers plan conversion from normal prepaid to DiGi Campus, you have to buy new SIM pack. smile.gif
