Added on October 9, 2008, 8:37 amya ya i got it...my mistake sorry guys iam noob....

this is e5200, not e2 series....so we suppose to Oc it the right way...not the old e2 series way...

u have to use the 12.5 Multiplier advantage......low fsb is the key

now im on 272x12.5= 3.41Ghz 1.3vcore....i try orthos max temp just 64*c only.... with my fat stock cooler...acceptable...hihi now i got my self a 3.4 Ghz proc...high fsb just didnt work with this proc

such High fsb monster Biostar I45 wasted... doh.gif

my e5200 with stock cooler..
vcore = 1.2v ..
idle around 39c with speedstep..
max load ~60c with prime95..
never exceed 55c when playing crysis warhead though ._.
btw that's for the hotter core#1..
core#0 is 5-7c cooler.. smile.gif

E8X00 is 6M, called Intel Core 2 Duo...

E8400 can go 4ghz easily...

Cache does make a difference.

Here's an article from X-bit Labs about the E5200 and E7300. The E7200 which is clocked similarly to the E5200 is also there for comparison. E5200 has 2MB L2 cache while E7200 and E7300 has 3MB L2 cache. Bus speed also can make difference here other than cache.
