Everything seems fine on my phone. No slows n lags.

It's not my habit to restore everytime I hit a snag so I will dig down to the cause of the problem. Thats how I know about the inner working of the phone (plus some heavy reading from other forum and private interactions with the Gurus). Very leceh to set up everything back after a restore.

try this below, i tried works like charm,
tried on my 1st gen. works with out any problem

You have to copy the file AppSupport (inside /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/) original of the v. 2.1 and put it in the same folder in v. 2.2. And now you are ready to put the PhoneNumberTemplates.plist with the fix in the same folder. Restart and LISTO!
You have an iPhone 2.2 with the CallerID solution!

Are you sure this works? No crashing into mobilesubstrate?

guys referring back to post 1, i have downloaded BL, backup FW, and FW2.2 Quickpwn22.

Im having 1st gen iPhone wiht BL3.9 JB with FW 2.01, can i just install FW2.2 via iTunes and pwn with quickpwn22 and im good to go?
(will this method JB/unlock/activate my phone?)
