You will need the firmware 2.2.1.ipsw file when u run Quickpawn. The way i did was
1. Download the firmware manually (visit first page for the link)
2. Open itunes, & when itune detected your iphone. Hold down SHIFT key & hit restore. Then, locate the 2.2.1.ipsw & itune will proceed with the 2.2.1 Restore.
3. When finish, Run Quickpawn & follow the steps..

aptbackup just install will do?
it will automatically remember wat was dled?

I had this app installed too.. But not sure how it works yet.. Perhaps will know it when i did the 2.2.1 JB ..

install dy then run it ... press backup.. settle
after update to 2.2.1 download it once again but this time press restore

hmn.. about aptbackup.. I press the backup after plugged in itune.. The backup shows up & gone in a second.. Is that the way it works?

Guys, my i3g stuck at the restore mode now when I'm on the way downgrade it to 2.0 from 2.2.1
So anyway to put it back to normal ?
Or I'll have to manually install the firmware to 2.2.1 ?

If I format my phone will I have to buy it again?

In itunes it recognized our apple ID

How does Cydia work?
