What kinda monitor are you using ar tongue.gif, no tearing effect ar? so high the FPS haha. My LCD sure got tearing effect liao, that's why I always use vsync.

17" CRT monitor only, lol, at 1024*768 resolution
if 1280*1024, i got 233FPS

what is tearing effect? unsure.gif

Mmmm, CRT sure won't face this problem. LCD usually will get this especially when you run 200+ FPS on 60Hz LCD screen. Google around for it, I don't know how to put it nicely in word =/ Basically can see the image tearing when playing FPS, when you turn fast, can see the walls like... distorted.

Yes on reference cards, but most non reference are able to cope with the heat.

iianm no LED but got UV effect if u fit in a CCFL kit in ur CPU

There was no problem to begin with actually, as amd said 4850 are able to withstand such a high temperature.

I'd say 4850 is around 70~80% more powerful than 3870 and 4870 is twice the power of 3870 (100% more powerful)
