Heard that MSi 4850 Quad-PiPE most coolest 4800series in town. 39c(standby), while 57c(load).
Anyone try this one? Planning to get this baby. MSi 4850 QUAD-PIPE |

coolest?not sure bout that though but i think that would need to use 3rd party cooler like the ThermalRight Trad2..it depends on the casing, air flow and the ambient temp of the room..

i gues...better go for hd4670..sell ur x1950 asap...otherwise next time no price in the market ad...its ur decision..but i feel theres a large gap between x1950pro and hd4670..worth upgrading...
and theres still problem for hd4670 regarding driver if im not mistaken...most users in other complained about problems...game crashing this and tat.. and most review show 9600gso pawn this card? and vice versa?i mean i still confuse...awhile this wan better awhile tat wan better...guess theres bias in their review.. |

Yea, 61c load is alright IMO. Compared to reaching 80C for the reference cards lol.
Colorful quad heatpipe looks similiar to the MSI's. This post has been edited by celciuz: Sep 28 2008, 11:25 AM |

QUOTE(kaixy @ Sep 28 2008, 12:59 AM) Heard that MSi 4850 Quad-PiPE most coolest 4800series in town. 39c(standby), while 57c(load). The heatsink is much smaller than Gainward 4850GS but the fan is bigger; Gainward 65mm vs MSI 80mm. But Gainward is custom PCB with better VRAM chips while MSI Quad Pipe is reference card with better cooler. I would go for Gainward anytime since Gainward is a GC company which MSI is not exclusively GC company.Anyone try this one? Planning to get this baby. MSi 4850 QUAD-PIPE |
