never got this issue, set my ring volume to 50% and vibrate on, kept in the sleeve pouch and always inside my pocket most of the time, and never i did miss a call before cos the ringing is loud enough and the vibration is strong

The distorted E icon is not a bug. Its currently in en Edge area, but looking for a base station to connect to. again, not a bug. (i believe u meant the E icon very grainy right?)

Mine is the free download from Malsing maps. 2.15 i think. The newer maps need an unlock code, so haven't gotten to figuring out that one yet.

Also, trying to learn how to use it, like how to rename certain points i reach. Can't seem to find the option! Its just called 'point'.

i supposed you're trying to create a new POI like your home, office, etc. in garmin?

first you need to enter browse map mode, do this by pressing down on the action button while you're in navigation mode. You can see the difference because in browse mode the bottom two options are Back and Save.

Clicking Save at this point will save your current position as a new POI. clicking anywhere on the map will bring up a cursor and then when you click save the point will be created where the cursor is pointing.

To see all the points you've made, go back to main screen,tools->manage my data-> my locations

Garmin is confusing because they made it look almost exactly the same as their GPS appliances instead of acting like a WM program. I like the fact that the whole thing can be operated using the joypad instead of having to touch the screen.

Hey, thanks for the help marauderz. Will give it a try later. Another issue is my %#%# v kool. Affects the signal so now i have to get a lock first before getting into my car, and then also, during driving, there would be some lag in the tracking. Ah well, with the v kool and maybe not being a dedicated GPS unit for the Touch pro is an issue.

Was trying mapking, but no offence, it doesn't look as sharp and snazzy as the Garmin one. But you may be right about usability, though i did not really try out Mapking.

BTW, back to the Touch pro. Maaann..the front screen is a huge fingerprint magnet. Would changing to a better-quality screen cover help? Or maybe my fingers too dirty ha ha

marauderz, it will bed saved as My POI. How do we rename it? thats the problem.

@ seplhy, non taken. matter of preference. its true that the maps arent as "Crisp" but in terms of user friendliness i still prefer Mapking lol. i have them both on my pda. once i was trying to find a place, after 15 mins of trying to do it with Garmin, got so frustrated, switched back to Mapking and was driving in 5 mins lol

go to my locations screen tap on point you want to change then tap... Change name!

they probably did it this way to allow users to save first edit later

which fonts? if you mean sms fonts, scroll your hardware button (move your thumb in circular direction around the centre button) to enlarge or zoom out. if u mean other fonts, start > settings > system > screen > text size

I tried to upload my songs to my storage disk. Also included a photo album art.

Went to touch flo menu @ the music can't be able to see the album art only can see the songs
