guys and weakness for TP? Like htc tytn have like:

1. random freeze
2. slow camera indoor
3. laggy?

willing to buy but frust with htc tytn ii performance while i grab it in very early batch.
*
1. no freeze so far [ this my fourth day using it ]
2. camera is ok much better than all my previous pdas, the only complain is there's no dedicated camera button for camera but getting use to it and start appreciate the reason why.. tongue.gif
3. laggy? no, not for this TP

QUOTE(elmoo @ Sep 10 2008, 02:48 PM)
hmmm...from page 1 testimony, performance seems good and flies when u apply the weeks. Furthermore, TP got more CPU and memory and Tytn 2 is missing the graphics acceleration driver. This is wat i think la.

planning to get one myself as well  drool.gif

bro elmoo, waiting for your review ya !

Hmm I disable 3g but now it detects [E] which is apparently Edge. Is this normal when I disable 3G?

Also abit frustrating is sometimes it will auto-connect data session for me wan ler....I hate it....I don't know where to disable the auto connect data....mind advice?

So I assume disabling 3G and running [E] as default can save battery consumption.

How about lets say if I want to do a data transfer, does running Edge cheaper or 3G? I'm a maxis subscriber btw.

Doubt so. I'm almost certain it's your 3G that's sucking up your battery life. And your Bluetooth, if you're turning it on all the time.
*
I think so as well.
As compare to my previous phone 838pro, under the same usage (3G & Bluetooth on all the time),
TP's battery life is draining much faster. hmm.gif

Hey Quinn, thanks for that useful bit of info. Will try that when i get back. Good, that means i don't have to clog up my phone storage!

Robin,
Well, it could also be that the battery is new, so need to 'run in' a bit before you can realise its power. Give it a few more days and see
*
Hopefully after few days it'll release its 'full power' lar nod.gif

try switch off 3G network if you're not using it, it does really help to prolong the battery life.
*
OK, will give it a try nod.gif

1) It will save, but I don't think will be significant. Tried out before on my previous phone. Didn't save much. Maybe different phone will have different savings on battery consumption? Now trying on my TP.

2) The rate is the same no matter on GPRS, EDGE or 3G

Settings - System - Device Information.
Firmware = ROM version

You should find all of the Malaysian models are fairly up to date with 1.90.707.4 WWE (08/23/08)

Nah it just crashed just like that.

Was clicking on the task manager then it crashes. I know this is normal but didn't know it happened to me that fast lol.

I'm actually more concerned on the Touch Flo digital time flipping thingy...sometimes the animation dissapears and turns to a normal digital clock.

hahahahahaha. bro. Touch Flo 3D clock is changeable. u can change from the flipping version to digital version one.

when in the big clock version, slide your fingers upward to change to digital version.

when in digital version, slide downwards. laugh.gif

u probably accidentally flipped it somehow
