no, i do not have call in volume problem, mine is clear and loud ! probably those unfortunate one got the lemon unit! i strongly you guys test this out before purchase it cos it's a so-called known issue highlighted in XDA forum!

Tested the gps with mapking 2007, very satisfied with it! With quickgps, i manage to connect to gps in less than 10 sec!

Dunno about sim card making the calls sound quiet, but I had a problem with my TP on day 1 where I couldn't send any SMS messages...
Error shown said that the message could not be sent because the SIM card was not valid.  Went to Maxis, got the card replaced and SMS now works fine.

So SIM card can affect some things at least, but I'd doubt it would affect call volume.

I've also tweaked my TP with most of those mentioned on the first post, TouchFlo flies now whereas there used to be delays when sliding and opening apps.

just got the pro today! Whoopee!! Big adjustments though..was using the Sony Ericsson P990 before, so this is completely new to me. And i am still getting used to the device. Also using Garmin XT, which i think is far easier to use than Mapking, and looks better too. Using with malsing maps. No issue so far, but won't know until i drive in my car tmrow (with vkool)

Change it back at the place I bought. PDA Expert. They give me another one to test. Charging it now. Hope it is alright.

One question, does any of your TP get hot when using it. When I use it, browsing, games, etc, it get hot especially the metal area at the camera.
