@evilhumora,
Overseas trip for company is very hard to come by,

. I do wish anyone going can let me know.
Your last statement was very funny.. come to think of it, I do like oversize man shirt at times, does that make me a "crossdresser" also.

(-giggle).
I found out from amazon, they/ or their supplier, do have Hanes alive online, you may need to find out if they ship international.
http://www.amazon.com/Hanes-Alive-Full-Sup...72455567&sr=8-1 I noticed that male wearer like yourself and gnoelhot, are pretty adventurous to tryout different brands to know their feel. For myself and probably other ladies that are more routine into wearing hose tend to stick to just certain brand we like. Those more of household name (maybe M&S, Leggs, Hanes ) tends to have more consistent quality, size and fit. We ended up liking it because of the feel and overall experience
Malaysia market is a bit cursed because of the weather. Secondly, it is dominated by few middle man (just guess) that hardly interested in helping customer experience knowing that there only few sellers out there, bringing only cheap brand that sells in "kilos", in a way, your thought of, vicious cycle kept going deeper and deeper to its own demise. Which is almost happening right now. Many brands not available to us, many of us just found out from internet.
That is why I saw that, when opaque comes in, suddenly many ladies like it (feels good to have hosiery hug to feet nicely) , those probably grown up never wear them before suddenly come across this new found feeling of comfort, in addition to the reliability too because it did not run and snag too easily, if they even had lousy experience of run and snag in the past wearing those sheer cheapo. Even some helped the demise by calling it old-lady hosiery, such negative marketing is the last we need. Only entertainment was helping the trend. Only worry I have is, opaque tend to be thick and less ventilated, the moment trend goes away, it will drag everything with it.
It is good that guys pick up this trend too and there are supplier out there are filling the void, because it is really a practical piece of outfit for anyone at all. I only read from Steve's blog, the male design tends to be more durable even for sheer. I am also thinking about buying comfilon online should my own supply ran out. All that I look for is the consistent and durable quality.
Having a lousy pair of hose could be like betrayal, always run when you need it most..
