FYI, money does not come first for me. but it's very important in my life and my part of the world... i do agree with u money can't buy everything. but i'm talking about business, i can't get it, how do u do business, be a nice guy and help everyone so dat one of them will buy something from u and provide gud after sales service? correct me if i'm wrong. everyone dat open a shop to do business, sure money will come first, if not who will pay for the rental of the shop? who pay for the workers? how do u feed yourself and ur family? unless u eat pasir la but u still have other expenses to cover. in a business, one of the most important aspect is to remain a positive turnover. so, pls stop pretending to be a noble fella, and say i sell to others not intending to earn their money. at least i won't believe dat. i'm just sticking to reality, this is a dog eat dog world. ur price and service are competitive, therefore u survived and did well. no doubt. but how did u survived? selling something without earning money? dun get misunderstood, i'm just talking about business generally. i have no doubt ur business will blossom.

oh ya, i do not know why 'somebody' doesn't want to talk much to me, pls enlighten me if u could? perhaps i'm too much of a jerk to them? but as far as i can remember, a lot of ppl talked to me quite a lot. maybe dat 'somebody' just can't click with me...

No point to keep debating on the money part. There are thiings that you really do not understand and is only shared by those in the business.

Most shop make as little as RM5 per HU they sell depending on brand and model. Some make a loses. How is this possible in a long term is not in what you need to know until you have joined the line.

No one is pretending to be a noble person here, and no one is trying to potray as a person who don't give a damn about profit. It's like what you said, when people don't click with each other, they just don't click, unless things change, i.e. knowing the person in reality, not through words that one typed in the internet forum.

i have met people who do open shop and gives a very very good service since i was a newbie till now... although all my life i only rememeber spending RM100 in that shop for head light H4 bulbs...

but they let me audit their demo car, install a line of HU in my car whenever i say i wan to test... and best part help me in my tuning... most part are my own but they tell me where i should look into again in my tuning...

so i think if its not money then there must be something in you that people dun find it friendly mayb?

well if that is the case, normally i wont go to the shop again lar. i usually go for the cheap stuffs first to see how is the shop, ok or not. then 2nd time will be more confident to go for more big purchases.

customer is always a customer no matter how much u can profit from them.

Well, I don't know whether there is LWN member would agreed with me that no matter how big is the profit margin or just making enough to cover the cost of the item, customer is always a customer. Customer or consumer always looking for value buy and going for bargaining. In this case, our bro was only the victim of the price discrimination case as the shop did in fact selling lower price item which they are readily to sell to any customer, right? Therefore, if the shop is having display of lower end audio equip then please don't treat any w/in customer with discrimination.

To me, 5 cent is still a legal value denomination and rm1k is also a legal value denomination. It is afterall, just a matter of who (customer) opted for what price that he/she can afford to. Unless, somebody is telling me that the shop is only carrying high end products from certain price range onwards then I have to salute the shop rights. However, I believed this is not the case, true?

So, only with this right frame of mindset and feedback, now all audio freaks and any consumer will take extra pre-caution as whether to pay the shop mentioned a or anymore visit...YOU DECIDE, as money is on our side and coming out from our own pocket!
