Hello Netraid, Good French bravo! To be fair, Don't ask me to say hello in your national language...

Thanks for your answers.
I really choosen your card for its improved power management (hope chips will be really cooler, & its cooling system) .Coming from a 1950 pro you can understand I'm now taking care about those points.
My distributor will change my card for free, he's ok.: normally next week
I sent him your post and will see if I can get one manufactured by the 18th Sept.
Also I sent a mail to Gainward Germany and wait for their feedback: basically it's to see if they will confirm and get some advices.
I'll let you all know if I get some relevant feedbacks.
I'm really disapointed for the massage (will complain to Gainward for sure ;-) )but appreciated the pics you've sent (so may be I'll be nice with you and won't tell Gainward).

Finally do you have any idea regarding the chip that is causing this world wide "wind of panic ? :-) and leave me in front of an old PC without playing my favorites games (sniff! sniff!)

Stef.

then it might be a graphic card driver problem or what soever..
download the latest version or graphic driver
uninstall the previous version of graphic card driver in ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS under CONTROL PANEL (WINDOWS SAFE MODE)
then reboot the computer, and install the latest version of driver.. and C HOW..

If I were U, I would choose the ATI 4670 with high speed 512Mb GDDR3 memory and cooling fan solution.
I believe that at the time U purchase the NVIDIA card, the ATI 4670 is not yet released. Am I right??

but typical ATI 4670 card can outperform 9600GT at most high resolutions on typical games.
and ATI UVD 2 provide the excellent quality on video playback.
May I know what brand of NVIDIA card that U are using?

yes... how U upgrade U every version of the ATI graphic card driver?
are U just install it over the older version?

To reduce any problem of incompatible or conflicts between older ati graphic card driver and newer graphic card driver. always please perform the "clean installation" that is by removing the older graphic driver and then perform the "clean installation" of new graphic card driver.
