Welcome to GW club bro.
Anyone here who have try HDMI input from 4870GS to 24" LCD monitor?
I've just bought a cheapo male-to-male HDMI cable from Carrefour & connect to my Dell S2409W 24" but I won't get full screen (I think it's 22" resolution only) even though CCC is set to 1920x1080.
How to make it to display at full screen?

EDIT: Got it done already. In CCC under HDMI menu there's scaling option make it overscale to 0% instead of default underscale 15%. TQ

BTW do u guys noe whch catalyst is better...8.10whql or the newly released 8.11 beta rc1...in terms of in-game perf,benchmarking maybe
i benchmarked using vantage jst now and manage to get 9455,3dmark06=15xxx(only 1k+ improvement compared to 8800gt)
u guys noe how can i push it further and get better scores

8.10 is great. I tried 8.6 on crysis warhead and it is laggy but once I install 8.10 then the game become very smooth.

Yeah I can feel everything is faster on 8.10. No regret using it.

WTA is this card stable ?

I mean 4850GS......

I never buy a pre-oc card before.

^ Stable as in? I'm using it so far so good . At stock speed, 700/1100 I'll consider it running stable for my standards.

Stable with even a good temp.

So no random crashing/lockup/BSOD and Artifacts....?

I'm getting one after deepavali.

2 years. A bit short compared to some offering 3 years, but well worth the price .

Depends on luck bro. Cannot really predict its fate cos I'm not that godly.

Hmm, with the merger or bought over, hopefully you guys will continue focusing on Gainward, who knows later the new company decide to push other GC brand lol
