I don't see them really promoting Fluff, maybe cuz it's spelled with capital letters? The petstore is registered with all capitals, so it's natural to type all in block letters. About the idea of a glider room, I've heard about Pet Shack's and Fluff's, both are very different whereby Pet Shack's is more for people, like a room to hang out with extensions and levels for the gliders to play. But Fluff's is a boxed in cubicle solely for gliders. The walls are meshed and the room is glider-proofed with a window connecting to the outside for ventillation. They're different, ideas done differently, they only share the same name. So should Fluff call theirs the Glider Space/Cabin/Hut/Cubicle? You decide.

If you want to count about promoting as just mentioning the name of the store, I see no complaints directed to other parties when they mention other stores like Pet Shack or Toby Pets as well as products. I don't see any relevance with Jon's post and being old-fashioned. If spamming is so bad you can try PMing.

Ok, so DeRossi and muchan is interested in sharing kibbles. Anyone else? 3 person for a small pack is still pretty big since suggies should only take 2 pieces a day right?

And yes... Fluff is very nice and spacious lar. Very homey. It gives you a really relaxed feel. It's a very good place for a gathering with a lot of people. They have the facilities and space plus clean bathroom~

Pet Shack is a good place also. Got a variety of products. Nice pets. Home to smoothie and wodent wheel.

So depending where you live, going to both is good. Fluff isn't self promoting. Yang was asking for opinions of how to make his shop better.

And I've been to both glider rooms. Pet Shack's is spacious and the owners can also go in to the room. Fluff's glider cubicle is more like a fun zone for children. You drop your glider in it but you don't actually be in the cubicle with your suggie. So like Reanne said, they only share the same name. They're both different.

I dunno but I don't really like to drop in the kopitiam because it is strictly malay speaking. And my BM is very rusty from lack of use.

We are really one community, LYN members who own gliders and love them. We should be nice to each other. There's so much we can gain by being together.

for my Long Awaited Darling, Beloved and Dearest Yamilet Malika [Letika]
as she has cross over to the Rainbow Bridge..

My Letika was found dead early 5am this morning.. [still in shock till now, but got supports by dear friends!! thanks a lot guys!!]

Couldnt imagine she is not with me now.. Couldnt imagine she didnt even spend 24hours with me..

But the time spent during when i get her from PetShack [Mama Joan] at 1.30pm till 2am [the last she was still alive] was worthwhile for me..

I am strong and will move on..

This is the schedule for my Letika Arrivals yesterday :-

12.45am - Arrived at Setia Jaya LRT Station [running to PetShack! Too excited!!]

1.00pm - Arrive at PetShack, get Letika n stuffs asap [supposed to stay but too hurry d, coz brother wanna take me to uncle's house, on the spot]

1.30pm - Done buying, Letika with me, In Car with Brother [going to Kelana Jaya]

2.00pm - At Kelana Jaya [Uncle's house] till evening..

10.30pm - KTM Station KL Sentral [going back UKM], 2 delays..

11.30pm - KTM arrive at KL Sentral

12.00am - Arrive at KTM Station UKM

12.30am - Arrive in room in UKM

1.00am - Finished bath, prepared food for Letika, post reply to SG Thread

1.30am - Read LYN forums

2.00am - Sleep, after i checked Letika

That's all i can recall..

As i am very into Malay cultures, my Malay juniors wake me up at 5.00am to bersahur with them, n cooking too.. As usual..

5.00am - Juniors knock my door, i answered

5.05am - Went to check Letika [a very crabby joey], but no sound n movement

5.10am - Not believeing myself, i open the cage, look inside n see Letika is like sleeping.. i try to make her move but failed, so i put hand inside, no reaction at all.. I take her out, she is GONE d..

I admit i am still in shock, but live must move on, and i dont want to LIE about this matter.. I wana tell what's happening bcoz all of us here r family and we shud share, whether it is GOOD or BAD..

Cried like crazy, i dont care!! I LOVE HER!! My college friends think something happens to my relatives. TOUCH WOOD!!

Having been long enuf in LYN especially in Sugar Glider Thread, i do recall something, that is to put the body of the deceased Letika in the fridge, in case i wanna do post mortem.. Put her in a plastic container, and wrap two plastic bags.. Dont wan friend to see a dead animal in fridge..

Then i went to call n msg n sms a few person.. Dat is who i trust in SG forum..

This morning went to PetShack after a few calls n msgs, decided to go to a vet. Hands and Paws.. Going with Joan and Bonai.. Thanks guys!! A great help there.. As we wanted to find out the real reasons.. Dr. Mervin did a post mortem.. Thanks Dr. Mervin, kind enuf to explain everything in details..

From the post mortem :-
1 ) Lung = floating in a bowl of water [good coz got air rather than water]
2 ) Kidney = Bright red colour [signs of healthy]
3 ) Heart = Bright red colour [signs of healthy]
4 ) Urine tract = got urine [signs of she drinks]
5 ) Stomach = no food [NOT GOOD, as seems like Letika only chew the mealworms i gave but not actually eat any]

So, Dr Mervin concluded the joey is in a healthy condition, the reason she died maybe the coz of :-

A ) Cold Stress, or
B ) Lack of Glucose, or
C ) Combination of both [this makes it much more prone to death]

This announcement was made to notify all the forumers in Sugar Glider Thread bout my experience [a BAD one],

I can conclude this as :-
1 ) Please do a good research on AFTER BUYING TIPS on joeys sales.. Like going home str8 after u get ur joey.. [Learnt my lesson the HARD and SAD way]
2 ) If my joey at 8weeks plus, can GONE like that, just like that, what do u think bout UNDERAGEDs?
3 ) And please get from responsible and caring breeders/petshops, not only to the pets, but also customers/petlovers : PETSHACK feels responsible and so caring to me! They took me to Hands and Paws! And deal the matter there. Not their fault [I DIDNT BLAME THEM] and it is not my fault.

Just sometimes we missed the small details like glucose.. I never knew bout the glucose part.
