Well, no it won't. Once they get used to the fact that you're moving but nothing will hurt them, they'll sleep just fine. More often than not, they won't notice that you opened the zip and are glaring at them till you prod them to wake up.

And most gliders start to treat their bonding pouch as the place to sleep by trying to get back in the pouch if you bring them out during the day.

how do u wana avoid them to pee inside the pouch eh..??

oh thanks. so how often does gliders pee and poo actually? those that let them free range in your room wont get their pee poo on bed or hard to reach places?

Most gliders le, they will bising bising if they wanna come out to poo or pee. Whenever I let Frey out she will poo and pee. So she hardly pees in her pouch. So if your joey is mature enough and is struggling to get out, let her come out lo. Then she can poo and pee outside the pouch.

Frey poos and pees whenever she wakes up, after she leaves the pouch, and a few hours after she leaves her pouch.

my glider sumtime making noise dat sounds like hissing or like rat...lolxx duno how to describe..wat dat means??...too many dust get in her nose??

i wanna ask la.....is it normal that my tanobi eats alot...cause today i test la..put half apple and she keep on eating without stopping.....if she stop oso, she will jalan2 first, then continue...its been 2 hours she's munching the food now...normal ka???

Well, gliders are animals that can adapt easily to environment changes if we train them when they are joeys. When we hang them in pouches around our necks, they get to hear our voices, our heartbeat, our smell, our movement.... all that is comforting for a glider. It would make them get used to situations and soon they would learn to sleep soundly in the loudest situations. I brought my gliders to cinema and mini concerts before, they just slept in their pouches, never move much.

Put lotsa tissue in the bonding pouch coz tissue can absorb pee. Gliders normally pee and poo while awake, so if your glider is asleep, then no worries but once you feel the pouch is moving coz your glider woke up, quickly let your glider out of the pouch and let it pee and poo outside.

They pee and poo often. I got 1 that free ranges.... there is no way to control the pee and poo, only way is to clean up my room daily lah. I block all the hard to reach places like under my bed with boxes. My glider normally just roams about, never goes under the bed unless she wants to hide from me. Her favourite peeing spots are on my tables and cupboards.

Hissing.... soft soft hissing rite? Nah, it is not dust... she is just calling out only. Joeys normally make it when hungry or wants attention.

Hiss while pooing.... means constipation loh. Feed some papaya and apple juice.

Pee alot means take alot of water. That's ok. As long she doesn't hiss while peeing is fine.

Eating alot, which I would say is a good sign. Some joeys won't eat much. Some would starve than to eat if they were separated too early from their parents. Try giving her different types of fruits ok? Are you using any glider supplement?

If she is eating, roaming about normally, then it is nothing. Sometimes they just wanna do something else. Gliders are not like hamsters, they would only run when they feel like it. Hamsters are like addicted to wheels.

Yah, papaya and kurma is ok. Best is the fresh kurma.... dried ones a bit high in sugar.

You feeding GliderSLURP or Nezu's smoothie? SLURP can be fed once or twice a day.... as long you feed 1 tablespoon a day lah.

i get my Milly 2weeks ago and i bring her to work almost everyday. only left her at hse twice. so far no problem cos she alrd get used to my work place too. i put her into my uniform pocket so she'll get de warm, now she can climb into my pocket by herself alrd.
i'll wake her up to feed fruit to her, aft eat play awhile den pee & poo and return to her bonding pouch or my pocket. she'll clean/groom herself den very fast will fall back to sleep.

normally de time u wake them up, they will pee. aft eat also, they'll pee & poo.
but when Milly's running ard my both hand, i can guess when she wanna poo. cos she'll stop running suddenly, wif her butt facing out of my hand & her tail goes up a bit. there shes doin her business.
but for pee, really cannot guess.haha
