Hi there! I am a newbie here.  smile.gif
I am going to further my studies in Macquarie University next year...seems like there is no one from that university except for y@m@d@_iToE.
Anyway, this thread is very informative in some ways.  thumbup.gif  Hope to get more information from here so that I will be ready for a new chapter of life next year!  icon_rolleyes.gif

i think the low exchange rate between 2.3-2.5 only applies for TT rate, at money exchangers around KL, it's still at 2.7.

i think depends... the best is change when the exchange rate is low...and lock it in with term deposits before banks adjust their interest rate

As a record, sometimes you need it because if you find out your recent payment is overcharge or they say you didn't pay for the previous payment. When you call them, they will insist you to have a receipt as a proof that you have pay for the previous payment.
I had this experience that I had paid for the previous payment but they still charge me not paying the previous bill. I was like, #$%&$#$
I called and tell them we paid! They said " if you do not have a receipt to proof that you have pay, you still have to pay it what it stated in the payment bill". I was like @#$%. not cheap la.. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif
