i already booked my plane ticket..lulzzz
*
Which university are you applying in Queensland?
you can call idp once a week and ask them when will I be able to know the answer from the university.
Did you do your IELTS? Just in case they need it.
Last time, I called them twice a week and finally they call me before chinese new year. Unfortunately, I do not have my IELTS result and I am not able to enroll in Feb intake. Then, I realized I should do my IELTS while waiting for the response if idp did tell me earlier.
No worries. That's fast, you have booked your air ticket.... shocking.gif shocking.gif

they had one last month. couldn't make it as it would have clashed with one of my lectures. i believe the guy who runs the seminar is the director of http://visalawyers.com.au/ . thing is, he's based in NSW.
Yeah, last month they had one but tomorrow. there is another one at Building 8, Room 139. Also, they have one hour advice session. Yes, he based in NSW.
You really didn't receive it!! hmm.gif hmm.gif

Receipt for what purpose?
hmm.gif

this one?

icon_rolleyes.gif

As a record, sometimes you need it because if you find out your recent payment is overcharge or they say you didn't pay for the previous payment. When you call them, they will insist you to have a receipt as a proof that you have pay for the previous payment.
I had this experience that I had paid for the previous payment but they still charge me not paying the previous bill. I was like, #$%&$#$
I called and tell them we paid! They said " if you do not have a receipt to proof that you have pay, you still have to pay it what it stated in the payment bill". I was like @#$%. not cheap la.. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Is it easy to find a part time job (waiter or food serving) in Brisbane? And how will the wages be like?

I'm asking this because i maybe studying in UQ very soon.  smile.gif
*
I won't say it's easy to look for a part time job here. the wages for food and beverage is aus17-aus22 per hour if you work with mat salleh. I have some friends get aus11 per hour.

Good luck to you!

Well, maybe we have to take the initiative to talk to them... I don't think all of them mind mixing with us.. As i'm going to Queensland University very soon, i too feel worried about mixing with people there.. I certainly hope can mix well with them because it would be meaningless to study there if i'm still always together with the M'sians.
*
No worries. they are very friendly.
