Hi... at Bandung got Oakley/Rayban FO or not?

I will go 22-26 feb 2012 (24th and 25th is CNY), quite worry if most of the hotel fully booked. Tried Amaris Cimanuk to book through Agoda, Booking.com and Amaris offical website... but it said - "Sorry, no rate available for requested date. You can check availability on other dates."

I dont know that mean the date is already fully booked or its too early so they cant confirm the availability....

I want to find place close to good FO (not low quality one)... walking distance is good.

Also looking for "smart hotel" as same class as tunes hotel in Malaysia... no fancy hotel.

Please advise me where a good area to stay and shop...

1st time to Bandung.

Has anybody go to Transstudio, Bandung before? Please share some information with me. Want go this July...

FO are aplenty in Bandung. It depend which FO do u want to go. For me, I prefer FO in Jln Riau and Rumah Mode.

I not able to book via Agoda too. I book with them directly.

Avg round tee ~rp 89K, Polo Tee ~ rp120p, pant ~ rp180k and for rerally luxury brand >rp250k...
That's why i say nothing is cheap there..haha...What I expec t from Bandung is RM10/te and not >RM25 for a Tee..

Majesty hotel far from the city. Located North Bandung.Near Pasteur toll plaza. Unfortunately your hotel is further out from the city and near to the exit to highway to Jakarta. To reach Majesty hotel is very jam ler.

Rumah Mode located at Jln Setiabudi. FO in Jln Riau area are Heritage, Cascade, Secret, Terminal Tas and many more. I couldn't remember all coz too many My favourte is Secret and Heritage.

Clothes for women and men. Shoes, bags. Stuff like that. Different FO carry diffirent brand and fashion of course. My recommendation is Rumah Mode, Secret and Heritage.

Yeah diff FO selling diff brands and some famous brand repeated lor..Infact beside Rumah Mide, there is one selling mixed brands + Indonesian own brands. The indonesian version indeed cheaper but not as cheap as I expected.

Original- No idea, looks more like replica AAA to me haha. But I saw some of the brands also available here in our own FOS.. well..slightly cheaper in Bandung lor but not much..So instead of Bandung, You can get some of the rejected goods from our FOS or Reject shops too ..well lack of brand lah haha

Brader stimix, Bandung is not as cheap like before. I remember the first time I came to Bandung when AA open the route, I nearly pengsan at every FO coz it was dirt cheap. Now, so so lah. But still, I like to buy woman's pyjama in Heritage. Everywhere in KL I won't get that pyjama for RM15 1 pair. At least RM30-RM40.

polo tee rp 120? but those branded polo tee is 250 k? ( shud have shared in msian ringgit easier for ppl ) tq anyway

Haha..For real bargain, I found Yogyakarta Malioboro st Tee shirts are the cheapest in whole Indonesia. You can get jogja famous tee-shirt from rp12K till rp35K (RM4 till RM12)

For conversion...just take RP X 0.00035 can dy....Easy 100K=RM35, 200K=RM70

I will be staying in The Majesty Hotel in Bandung, according to their website, it is like very close to the airport, and 12 minutes to the down? Is that true? My main purpose of travelling to Bandung is only shopping, no sight seeing, do you think it is worth to hire driver? or just take taxi?

Majesty Hotel very far from the city. Located near Tol Pasteur (exit to highway to Jakarta). To go the Bandung town takes sometimes because of jam not 12 minutes. You shud hire driver and car to bring u around for shopping.
