QUOTE(tyj82 @ Jun 16 2011, 10:32 AM) There is 2 amaris. Cimanuk and Cimpeles. I stayed at Cimanuk. 3 mins walking to whole strech of FO. Walk till u drop... I pass Cimpeles also. It located near to Cimpeles walk where most of the things there sell T-shirt like in chow kit. I dont like Cimpeles area as too much tout and the quality there very cheap at high price. QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ Jun 19 2011, 10:47 PM) august 3 I will go 22-26 feb 2012 (24th and 25th is CNY), quite worry if most of the hotel fully booked. Tried Amaris Cimanuk to book through Agoda, Booking.com and Amaris offical website... but it said - "Sorry, no rate available for requested date. You can check availability on other dates."so now hotel kaw tim, time to survey for good fo, other than rumah mode? I dont know that mean the date is already fully booked or its too early so they cant confirm the availability.... I want to find place close to good FO (not low quality one)... walking distance is good. Also looking for "smart hotel" as same class as tunes hotel in Malaysia... no fancy hotel. Please advise me where a good area to stay and shop... 1st time to Bandung. |

Unfortunately your hotel is further out from the city and near to the exit to highway to Jakarta. To reach Majesty hotel is very jam ler. im aware that there are alot of FO, are they mostly sell the same thing?Rumah Mode located at Jln Setiabudi. FO in Jln Riau area are Heritage, Cascade, Secret, Terminal Tas and many more. I couldn't remember all coz too many |

QUOTE(terryykf @ Jun 18 2012, 09:15 PM) going to Bandung end of Sep til early Oct,5days trip. should be easy to walk around without hiring supir right? QUOTE(10&Counting @ Jun 19 2012, 10:43 AM) Easy to move around taking angkot. I prefer using angkotan for "jalan-jalan" within the city... from outlet to outlet.. and it cheaper and fun as 10&Counting said.Just tell them where you want to go. They'll help direct you to the correct one. Make sure you have small change. Has a blast using them for my 9 days, stayed at orange home and they're so cheap compared to taxi. It's a real unique experience. For far destination I hired supir just for 1 day only, went to Tangkuban. |
