I was thinking about getting the PS3 Malaysia release but it seems now that the grey market version is a much better deal.

What a rip off to Malaysians.

lets not make any conclusions yet. afterall sony has never officially mentioned any deals or bundles. They also never replied that to our email queries.

So seriously, why all the rant? i believe many people here including myself are just being anxious

I am still waiting for their website update... most important of all console price and... what games are available for our selection...

There will be no localized games like "Gear Besi Keras 4", because Asia region is controlled by Sony Hong Kong. So all R3 games will either be in English, Chinese or Japanese. Reading your translation of MGS4 and SC4 to BM made me laugh until my stomach hurts . God forbid they localize games because I won't buy them either. I rather buy my games from Singapore like you.

....Nah, there's no way the games will be renamed even if they are officially released here.
It's not so bad even if they do actually, more laughs for us.

Anyway, I hope their(Sony MY) 'revision' will introduce more bundles instead of increasing the price of the 1699 bundle. Maybe something like a standalone PS3 or a bundle with a BD movie or something of the sort. This will give us more choices when purchasing the console. Personally, I think having to pay 1699 for a PS3 and 2 games which I do NOT get to choose is crap. SCIV is a fighting game and not everyone fancies the genre and I'm pretty certain the 'selected' titles are games which didn't sell well in other Asian countries (SG, HK).

Oh well, hopefully the price drops or a standalone package will be introduced sometime next year. Looking to pick one up around June =)
