how about revised it to be LOWER than RM1699?

If revised to be lower, it would be good. I mean, shaving it to 1500 would be cool as hell.

Unfortunately according to my source, lowering the price is unlikely.

From what I understand, they may either revise the bundle content so that the price remains at RM1699 but with less one game, or they may increase the price with either the same content or with additional items. It should be lower than RM1999, but after this latest news I don't dare speculate lest I get another phone call from Sony Malaysia.

If the price is 1999 I'm not buying my second unit...and my conclusion...Sony's stupid...

if you got a phone call, just told them get ready to lose ALOT of 'potential' customer by revising the Rm1699 price tag.

K-End: I did tell them that, but I guess they forgot to calculate the cost margins when bringing the unit over to Malaysia. That's why they requested for the price/bundle revision notice before they officially announce it on their website...even though they previously gave me the green light to post the announcement.

Well, who knows. Maybe they might come up with a better offer or change their mind. Hopefully something more concrete will be posted by tomorrow.

this is intense... anyway i don't favour soul calibur anyway but i do hope they still keep the bundle attractive.. if they remove the game and maintain the 1699 price.. its no longer a good deal..

also they didn't state what are the selectable games? for all we know.. it could be 1699 with crappy game or might as well put it 1699 for just the console.

If the price is RM 1599 + 1 game bundle also will be a good deal instead of RM1699.

RM1699 is a good price. It's like a win-win situation here. We like it not just because it is cheap, but it is reasonable and affordable.

But if they decided to sell it at higher price, then those people who'll buy it most probably haven't been to this thread yet.

Well, if the place is still the same, then renting out the place in One Utama is also an issue in terms of cost. They want the launch to make some money, not lose it.

I much prefer if they just changed and did it in their store. For one day, hook up those tv's with the PS3, and wa lah, we live a day to kick some ice.
