if anyone here went to the "PSP limited edition Launch"(i think it was the limited ed launch) over at cineleisure a few months ago,you can see how inept these people are.

they're not real gamers,hell some of them dont even know wtf they are doing.
so you cant blame them for simply picking a game and using it as the official game of the tourney.

events in the order they happened:

Immersion sued sony AND microsoft for the vibration technology used in their controllers.
microsoft setled the lawsuit(and if im not mistaken even bought shares of immersion) but sony remained stubborn,didnt want to pay up

immersion then wanted to force sony to stop selling the PS2.
but i dont think that materialised and sony kept selling it anyway.
(dual shock 2 also uses immersion's technology)

so sony took out vibration for the ps3,claiming "it's old technology..the future is sixaxis"-this was their official statement.
coupled with "we tried to implement it,but it would screw up the motion sensing"
pretty much the whole world knew the real reason why vibration was taken out

a few weeks/months later,immersion came out with a statement saying how they can get both to work in tandem with one another-sony pwned.
(immersion even came out with a survey for gamers asking if we wanted vibration or not(among other things)-guess what the majority of responses went with

eventually,seeing how gamers still wanted vibration in their games,sony paid immersion,and came clean with the real reason why there originally wasnt vibration in the PS3's sixaxis,and conceded that they did finally pay up.

Nintendo didnt get sued cos their vibration technology was their own
