i thought full copper heat capacity < copper pipe alu fin.

Wow, are the dimensions exactly the same as the KW? Then IMO it should outperform the little brother KW.

PS, how heavy the KW is? Cause this thing is gonna weight a lot more @@. Copper is much heavier =/.

Make it this way:
Copper can conduct heat better than aluminum, so in a way, when the heat in transfered to the heat pipe(do you know in these pipes there are fluids?), the copper fins will conduct the heat faster than aluminum fins. Then the fan will blow/dissipate the heat away from the fins, how well copper can radiate/dissipate compared to aluminum, I do not know.

yeah,, cooper hv a beter heat transfer compare to alu, but theory say copper will release heat slower thn alu, mean it dissipate heat slower, but in practical, u will noe wat is the actual aft u saw the real performance... brows.gif

logically yes, but experimentally no. cpu heatsink might not show any big diff. if compare among big heatsinks, it does make the difference.

1.225kg? doh.gif that's uber heavy, wouldn't it bent the motherboard?

thats y DeelCool always come 2gahter with their mounting kits... not using the normal clip..
the mounting kits is 1 of the protection way for our MB.... wink.gif

yeah..... the mounting kit as backbone at the backside of mobo is vy important, especially for those high weight cooler.. nod.gif

CCF come with intel LGA 775 bracket.. for amd user dunid to change the mounting bracket, direct using the clip only... wink.gif
