I measured from cpu fan to exhaust hole, its not reach 8cm....in fact, it just 3cm...

Hi guys, need help.. im using a E8400 overclock at 3.825 by to 425.. i left the core voltage at auto... cause im still not sure what is the best.. is 1.25 good for this clock speed?
and im using 2x2GB kingston DDR2 800 value ram.. so the DRAM frequency is now 425 as 1:1 ratio.. does this mean my ram is now OCed?
im using a xigmatek HDT963 and the load temp is 55c, im pretty amaze with the temp as the overclock is pretty high.. is the anything wrong with the overclocking??

Added on December 2, 2008, 9:36 pmbtw, im still new in ocing..

yes. Your ram is oc-ed right now since it running 427x2 = 854mhz.

so my ram is on a slight oc, do a need to addvcore for the ram? or keep it a default... which is 1.8...
*
i guess no need to add vdimm...try stress it with orthos...if unstable, add vdimm...i run my ram @ 1000mhz using 2.0vdimm.

ok.. i'll try that... how long should i run orthos?? im using a value ram... do you think i need a fan to cool it??
*
1 hour is enough. Make sure you choose Stress and Blend. Value ram is okay i reckon to oc up to 860mhz.......

i have no idea.. but people said use core temp.. so i used core temp..
*
i thought mobo bios is the most accurate one? because core temp and my mobo bios show different reading..

QUOTE(livinzo @ Dec 4 2008, 12:16 AM)
its pretty worth it... i saw read some review saying that it could reduce temp by 7c compare to stock tim, which is pretty much...
get it from rockrock / robyn computer..he sold to me pretty cheap...
i find that the paste is pretty difficult to apply, its more rough, unlike stock tim, smooth and easy to apply..
*
I'm gonna grab tunix for sure...7c is really huge difference....
