Yeah..the idling is quite low..i wish i could get full not more then 50 too but seems like my first core failed me..do u think re-sitting the ccf will help? or maybe i should try lower vcore..

Higher vcore = more heat isn't it? @@

You should be veryyyy happy with that temperature man ! And one more thing I notice, CCF perform very well at higher vcore, meaning the temperature will not boost too much even at higher vcore. Well thats for me of course

My CCF idles just 3-4C below my Intel HSF at max fan speed for the stock HSF, but at load it chops about 10-15C off. Can't really recall what my load temp was like back then. Noise level decreased a lot as well with the CCF .

anyone done a push-pull mod for this cooler?
i did some routing with some of my extra uv cable sleeves and managed to hold 2 fans together on the cooler while being quite sturdy still.
maybe during the weekend i will re-do that will cable ties, but i think there should be a better way to do it. if anyone knows how, pls share, thanks.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 25 2008, 04:36 PM) 2 fans on your CCF? Care to show some pictures? . Interesting. later i go home i show, but i need cable ties to do it properly. another thing is i placed a fan grill in between the exhaust/pull fan and the cooler coz the fins on the other side were not flat making it possible for the fan blade to hit the fins. another thing is that u have to tie it hard. but so far, i think the concept is plausible, should work. p/s: my ccf grabbed from mr handsome tgairborne This post has been edited by awh85: Nov 25 2008, 04:50 PM

I doubt there would be much improvement to add another fan, IF you already installed one rear fan on your casing to pull the air out.
