stop? why izzit? coz apparently most of the car that got R3 parts are waja, gen2, savvy and satria/neo.. if they stopping production for old satria i would understand why.. if these happen.. ppl who will sell their R3 parts would put high price as its gonna be limited stuff..

just share some info....we can get Clarion ICE in local market starting 2009 (month dunno yet).

I ask the seller abt this, then he said R3 division is now concentrating on making R3 parts for Persona, Saga BLM and Neo. For what reasons R3 stops for Waja, Gen2 and others he could not answer it...

the retail HU i afraid cannot use waja steering remote la bro, but those high end model usually comes with additional steering switch.

hmm.. must be that they already deciding on new replacement model for waja.. and as i recalled.. waja is the only model that haven't been replace yet.. coz perdana is waiting for their replacement to launch these year..

guys..... should i go for brake lining / skimming? the squeaking / rattling sound is kinda annoying even under normal braking

check your brake pad 1st. For waja, when the brake pad is thin, the disc rotor tends to vibrate.

i noticed my front rim is getting dirty caused by the brake activities too.

squeking sound could be many factor, it can be the brake pad, missing of caliper pins as well as the scratches on disc rotor. Usually changing new pad need to do proper baking to avoid the squeking noise. While for the rattling noise can be due to warpped disc rotor or thin (almost finish) brake pad. I dun know how much they charge for the skimming, but the new disc rotor is RM160/pair (outside sparepart shop). You can confirm with PESC & EON for original price.

alotta things to fix:
power windows,
brakes,
engine service,
door handle,
maybe suspension too.


as usual, budget is tight, so i'd like some decent prices?

power windows, get the metal type and never change to plastic type. I'm not sure metal power windows is available for rear.

Brake? i guess u r referring to brake pad? If standard brake pad then cost not more RM160. There is a guy name emkay 0123830229 he selling Trestor Advantage front+rear RM160.

Engine service? you mean just change the engine oil? If yes, then u can get any engine oil at spare part shop then ask foremen to change it for u.

door handle u can try accessories shop, usually those with color is about RM30~50, some even can only change the handle only and that is more cheaper.

suspension, you need what brand? Get normal GAB RM500+ (include installation) or KYB or APM standard absober is about RM400+

Wiper pump? u referring to the water tank right? If yes then get it from spare part shop it's about RM40+, meanwhile for wiper try to source for silicon type it last for years then those rubber type.

dont go for KYB or APM.. get ASUKI instead.. i tried them and it is better.. only 270 for all 4 not include installation for sure..

yes, include installation. That shop charge installation for spring or absober is RM50 for 4pcs when I previously intall my Tein spring.
