where u get that?

Added on September 7, 2008, 8:19 pmok guys, a good friend my mine battery exploded and the acid got into his eyes. 1st 3days his can't see anything as he's suffering serious cornea damage. Discharge on saturday and now he can see a little but still not fully recover.

the indicident happen when he stop his car and after cool down awhile he open up the cap to check the battery water and it exploded without any signals.

lucky him that all the plastic and metal did not stuck to his eyes but there are few very close and few cm away from his eyes.

so guys, if possible change to dry cell.
*
IMHO, it's not dry cell, but rather calcium-lead alloy battery or more popularly known as maintenance free battery

There are some black stains on my rear bumper, yesterday wash wash the stain till there.. time to wax perhaps..
The leather seat, need to polish to maintain it?
*
for leather seat, you don't need to polish. what you need is

1. clean (use leather cleaner)
2. condition (use leather conditioner)

it will make the leather softer and more supple. it may be oily after the initial use, but when the leather soak up the conditioner, it will be nice to the touch.

i use armorall for all my leather cars. turtlewax and carplan products are also nice. all are foreign made

anyone changing their stock 15" wheels?

my stock wheels (the 5-star wheel on 2004-2006 waja) are bent / kinked / nada round / bangged

apa ra... this is the 2nd time. the 1st time, 3 wheels kinked. repaird. a few days ago i just realized 2 wheels are kinked again. this time, the inner side bent. my steering vibrates like hell

no money to change wheels. dunno why proton OEM wheels are super soft. so, anyone selling theirs? and how much is the market price for a piece of them?

yesh!!! finally this brake topic is up!.. how to adjust it to be tighter?? dam useless when really emergency happens and e-brake doesnt work!
*
what e-brake?

if u are referring to the handbrake, there's an adjusting nut just below the handle of the handbrake. you've gotta open up some plastic coverings, or something like tat

better yet, get your mechanic to help. i did mine free at PESC

i'm looking to sell my waja and get the NEW WAJA - a facelifted Mitsubishi Lancer

YES. Proton is in talks with mitsu on technology collaboration. we may even have a mitsu lancer (the current gen one) rebadged as a proton in exchange with proton's persona and savvy rebadged as mitsu overseas

so guys, adieu~ i'm driving my new proton waja lancer

OK. not that soon, but perhaps in late 2009 or 2010

They just follow the P.Nautica style.  laugh.gif Rebadge with proton then selling RM10k cheaper than M.Lancer price? lol..
*
one will be considered crazy if he were to pay 90k for a daihatsu compact suv, which is a derivative of toyota rush, which is made in indonesia

but one would be crazy if he DID NOT buy a 90k mitsu lancer, which is essentially an Evo X shell, a former japanese CBU and CKD in malaysia (hopefully, when it arrives with a proton badge)

do i hear wajalution? YES, i'm going to be an ahbeng wajalution if proton really bring in the lancer (not the fortis version) at 90k.

i did in tyre shop (with service car) cost me RM45 for default setting.B4 and After reprogram,I can feel that when Rev is more smooth(no lag).
*
i did mine for free at PESC. it's a system reset - plus recalibrate the throttle body. memang kaw kaw lah the feel after re-set the ECU

of coz, it's off the book since i asked one of the mechanic to do it diam2 since he's bored with nothing to do. if not, for sure kena charge one. u guys should try
