Just wondering the KDK "customer service" efficiency is actually varying according to location? hmm.gif

Anyone could shared price for below?

Panasonic F-M14E8 / F-M15E6 / F-M14C8WT?
KDK K15Y6 (V Touch) / Sensa 5 (K15Z9) Sensa 4 (K14Z9)

Below is what I found from this topic
1) Panasonic  F-M14C8WT (RM238)
2) KDK K14X8-CL (RM280) K14X8-GY (RM2255)

Due to my lower ceiling, most Deka ceiling fan that I plan to purchase cant fill in anymore, as it almost touch by my hand as the Fan length from Pully to PCB COver are almost 48cm instead of 44 cm in the specification. That worst thing the Deka WEB even indicated was 32cm only  rclxub.gif
Now I have to see for above fan which 30.6 - 40cm lenght
*
I was quoted for the models below:
KDK K15Y6 (V Touch)
RM470

Sensa 5 (K15Z9)
RM560

I guess KL price will be cheaper & lower biggrin.gif

Cant be 11", because the pipe itself default came with 1 feets (I measured it at the shop itself)
ANywhere, I will search and see what the secure level should be before deside it lol
*
Deka X6 fan - I measured from ceiling to fan blade, about 12.5". To the bottom of the fan (the middle bit) add another 3".

So far, so good. Only moved in 2 days. laugh.gif

KDK has been in the fan industry for many many years already. My whole house got 8 KDK ceiling fans and they are working really well.

Panasonic and KDK is the same manufacturer. KDK is actually the manufacturer. Panasonic just prints the name on it. Hence, the more expensive pricing.

KDK after sales service is also very good. All in all, KDK is more specialised in fans
*
KDK malaysia is sourcing its fans from panasonic shah alam.

certain models are from china.

panasonic fan is slightly cheaper than KDK.

there are 5 panasonic authorised service center located in kl/selangor.

Did you get the fan wobble fix?

They came change 2 out of 3 my panasonic Nami, but it still wobble bit at 5th speed (not as bad as before). Another one they claim is not fan problem. Say it due to fan hook installed by plaster ceiling contractor, when put the fan on the hook it shake a bit. Ask me fix the hook and they will come back. Dam, at that fan weight it sure share a bit. They also say the 2 replaced fan wobble a bit is also due to the hook.

After they left, i fix the 3rd fan myself. I add some weight on one of the fan blade and the wobble is not notice until 5th speed. Previous was at 3rd speed. So is not the hook.

I calling them back to proof to them.

Now, for thos consider using nami, or similar design on KDK, just take note of this quality.

Nami series fan is lighter than Bayu series fan and so a good hook position installation is required.

Panasonic has changed 2 out of 3 of your fan and the wobbling effect still persists, if u ask them to change all again, the effect will still remain.

why don't you call the plaster ceiling man to inspect the hook alignment?

A good/bad hook has direct effect to the fan performance and secondly is the additional weight added to the blade.

If a Tayar shop don't align ur new tyre, will u komplain the car no good?

Have you seen Nami mount design? it actually are much better than conventional old fan / Bayu. It can self aling straight because the mount are flexible. Like ball bearing head tripod, with weight pointing downward it will alight straight itself.

The hook have no effect, I am not sure how strong it need to be or as claim. Maybe mount onto the concrete?

They change 2 out of the 3 fan. It do improve a lot but still wobble at speed 5. Previously it was wobble at speed 3 itself. I doubt that is hook problem. And best is I put a bayu down, no problem at all. So is it still the hook?

Tire is difference, the motor is not in the wheels right? For fan, the magnetic coil is on the fan rotating portion.

haha, i got reversed instruction. Nami need to be very tight. They are non consistence.

They are not professional fan installer. I see professional fan installer came with balancing stone, and weight machine. Well that is for few thousand $$$ fan. and the length is minimal 10 feet from ceiling.

the measuring only work for Bayu cause is metal blade. Nami is composite / plastic can't bend.

ooh....ic..

anyway, he didn't complain about the hook problem...

but he said, if the fan is installed at the center of a rectangular L-Box, and the blades are near the edge of the L-Box, the wind will hit back to the fan and causes wobbling..
