That's expensive for a fan.

Has anyone thought of playing around with the electrical wiring to get the same effect. ie. When the aircon compresson is stopped, trigger the ceiling fan. So let say if you set your aircond temp as 24-25(very easy to trigger the compressor to stop at night), and the fan will start immediately after the compressor is stopped temporarily. I heard that it can be done by getting a wireman to add a relay or something...

Any electrical engineer here? smile.gif

that brand is just one of the many brands by local companies, but manufactured in china, like rubine, alpha, euro uno, etc

they undercut the big names (panasonic etc) in price, and make up in terms of longer warranty and service...

i think they have some models which are under rm200 for a fan...u better check out on the service commitment and parts availability

my friend, the National brand no longer exists. Matsushita, has unified their products under the Panasonic brand a long time ago! smile.gif

is it bought over by Panasonic or just used to be another brand under Matsushita?

that's too bad. it's a brand i know when little.

Matsushita has several brands for their products: National, Panasonic, Technics, among others. Now most of it has been consolidated under the Panasonic brand, and Matsushita itself has been renamed as Panasonic, more here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panasonic_Corporation
