I prefer steel blade. The wind is stronger compared to abs blade.

Yes.. different material have different strength. So to get the required strength the thickness will be effected. The thinner and the harder the blade the better d air delivery. Abs blade cannot be as thin as steel or it will snap easily.

I m not sure you notice that, table fan back to early is using metal blade. Than now all of the brand is using plastic. Can't find anymore metal blade.

Can.. but expensive.. hard plastic blade and softer one you can feel d different.

Done some survey this afternoon.

Want to replace my fan coz already slow after 16 years tongue.gif

One shop suggest me to take rubine neptune 5b with 10 years warranty biggrin.gif

Price RM 260

Wat u all think?

Is there any Penang members here can help recommend me a shop which selling KDK K14X8-GY at a cheaper price? I went to Sen heng and the price was tagged at RM299 (excluding installation) sad.gif

why not consider the remote one?...those 4 blade one...kdk also have wat....also very user friendly one...one power button,speed 1,2,3..timer and sleep mode only...my ah kong also using that... biggrin.gif ...those 3 blade is kinda noisier because more rpm due to less blade

I don't agreed, I have many Panasonic remote control fans, is strong and reliable, my mother Howe remote control fan been running closer to 7 years if I recall. Still going strong. Only problem I initially gaff is wobble, but this have been fix by Panasonic, they can replace all my 3 new fans. And asking the others.
