i m going for foundation in engineering for april intake 2 haha... but i not planning to stay there , drive every from my house "PJ" to there xD izzit advicesable? anyway all sifu , may i know more student comments bout the foundation in engineering?

Eh guys I'm heading for Bachelor of Business Adminstrationat Nottingham ... Does the BBA there accept A-Level Business/Econ/Account combination or compulsory to have Maths ? I only have SPM Maths and Add Maths .. Zzz

off campus.. find room around TTS (the housing area around uni).. room rental varies from 200~500.. depends on size, facilities etc.. u can go to uni by shuttle bus or car pool wif frens or even walk/cycle to uni.. very near onli.

it is good if there are room rental lower than 300 and can reach the campus by few minutes walking distance.

Hm..I think it is better for me to live in on-campus hostel for few months at 1st..
To know more about the environment..haha.

on campus, less freedom, internet connection limited (no p2p, no gaming), expensive.. the onli advantage living on campus is no need to travel and u can go to cafeteria for yr lunch or dinner..

if u r finding rental lower than 300, there a few options, TTS2, Bandar Sunway Semenyih or dunno wat wat Pelangi.. TTS2 is consider the cheapest n nearest to uni.. unless u r sharing room wif other ppl then u can consider places like TTS4 or TTS5.. BSS n Pelangi is even cheaper but u need a car or a fren to fetch u to uni everyday.

as for those asking bout restaurants, there r 2 western restaurant n 1 bar at TTS.. other shops are left EMPTY.. if u r looking for chinese food or mamak.. then u hav to go semenyih town..

yes in campus sure expensive den out campus and if within campus got many rules and regulation need to follow very mafan... i heard my fren say nottingham admin will take p2p as hacking and will take displinary action agains u haha

yes.. it will block p2p, if they detect a p2p connection establish then they will take discipline action against the whoever it is..

staying wif roommates - less privacy
staying in single room?? - more expensive
cannot play yr music loud
cannot play mahjong
cannot ask girls/boys to come at 3am
cannot party in yr rooms
limited internet connection (i.e. no drama downloading, no gaming)

well, staying on or off campus really depends on yourself. are u independent or discipline enuf.. wat do u need for yr campus life.. there r pros n cons thou.. juz judge by yrself.
