Hmmmm nottingham has dropped to number 86 in the THES list of top Universities

yes.. drop to 86 while monash raise to 47, and NUS at 30!! wow.. wat a big gap now.. i wonder wat makes our ranking drop.

In arwu ranking nottingham dropped from 81 to 82..
While monash can be found in the top 200+ zone..? hmm

Added on October 11, 2008, 4:12 pmOops..sorry about that. Don't get me wrong.. It is my choice to study here. I myself have a list of why Nottingham is better as compared to other unis.

1) You get to mix around with people from all walks of life (international students) & widen your perspective of life.
2) The quality of teaching and research is somewhat similar to that of other British universities
3) The admin is more liberal when it comes to freedom of thought and expression as compared to those from the local unis
4) It is an internationally recognised uni. Hence, the degrees are also internationally recognised
5) The students who are there must be good as there are a certain criteria for admission

But it's good to know what others think also and to share our views. Once we know why it's better, only then can we make full use of the facilities and advantages of studying here. Anyway, thank you for your comments, as I truly appreciate them.

Heard they are changing the caterers....... But I havent tasted the canteen food, hahaha

the food is much ok compare to the cafeteria one. Just the price... lol
