So far ,Amax is the broadband that having no cap/quotas ,just the cons is having no much/weak coverage ,and they did not having any promotion to attract the customers.
BTW ,in this bolehland ,nothing is gud .

certain Cheras area is affected by the low bandwidth problem~ it has nothing to do with signal strength, please file a complain to Amax through e-mail to gain strength in terms of numbers~

CPE is definitely stronger in terms of signal reception and you are right in saying that you can reach full speed with 2 bars but there may be fluctuations depending on the actual and accurate % of signal~ in your case, it is clear that someone is using your password OR your password is no longer valid, please check back with your agent/Dealer and it can be solved in 1h or less~

well, this is the only wireless broadband that offers unlimited usage and no cap~ I can't really say much as the rest of the wireless providers are much terrible~ if not within coverage, there is little chance of having good signal but you can get a free demo from me anytime~

Thanks for replying ,maybe shouldn't blame Amax because the my friend were using it before at Subang Casa ,it got well signals and coverage ,after moving to pjs9 and it was terrible (but still usable though slow download speed) ,We're now going for streamy,the only thing i afrad was the rumour of streamyx capping their speed at 10GB without disclosing all of the streamyx users .So what do you think ?

exactly correct~ I've tested at PJS7 and PJS9 (twice) and it's signal problem, not bandwith proble, because u guys are at the edge and the geographical location and circumstances is the main problem as what u've mentioned~ u are exactly hitting the nail on it's head, perfectly correct~

in Sunway, Streamyx is the best according to customers~ strongly recommended~

but downstair keep dc.

we give them 1 more week and it's 1 whole month of bandwidth problem already~ I've sent many e-mails, calls and face to face conversation to remind the problem of Sri Petaling and Cheras, and recently, Taman Mayang~

everyone affected, please complain to AmaxSpot, otherwise, they will not take this seriously, the number are

This is the final reminder i give to them to settle this problem for almost 1 month. If after checking the speed still poor and told me the signal is ok, the first thing i do will cancell the service and make a complaint to MCMC.
If next week the speed still poor i think we not need to talk to them again because they never take any action to settle the problem just direct send the letter to MCMC let them take another penalty

Just like what I've said before, when it's nice, it's really nice.
But when it sucks, really damn. Especially when I'm having some important discussion with my project members, it keep disconnected. Frustrated.

I am very fxxking disappointed with AMAX service these last 3 weeks !!!

For Taman Mayang / Bandar Utama Phase 12, the service has gone from BAD to WORSE !!!

I used to be able to download at around 130 kB/s, just now can only get 10 kB/s !!! What shitty speed...

Looks like all the complaints is not getting any results...
