was outstation today, Shah Alam user reported the same symtom of low bandwidth and I'll be going to Shah Alam tomorrow to check it out~

woaaa, my AMAX can't connect at all, since Thursday night, around 9pm, yesterday whole night, keeep restart, unplug and re-plug the modem, no luck too (I'm in office now btw)

hmmm, my modem problem? I brought my modem and connect @ office, can't get connect too, btw, the signal here quite low, around 15% only , my house at 6th floor get 53%

Amax people just finish checking my area and the speed is back to 1.5mbs but i still need to wait until night to see the speed still can get at this speed. 2moro will have a second checking.

no just using our own one. And check the signal using their system and lock the best location tower for the modem.BTW need to open the modem4 to 5 day for them to check signal.2moro will add another outdoor antenna for me try to get best signal.Just look and see tonight the speed is ok or not.

ohh, too bad, just try my modem in my office just now, 15% signal strength, still can't connect though, keep on CONNECTING, then DISCONNECT

what they did can't solve the problem. They always blame the signal low. They should check their core network. I get high signal, CINR(20,20) still experience speed slowdown to 0.30 mbps. Impossible to get 1.5mbps.
Conclusion, Amax is hopeless.

Added on November 14, 2009, 6:49 pmwith your usb modem, for sure you can't get connected inside the building. Bring your laptop, try to connect in the open air place. If still can't get connected, throw the usb modem back to Amax HQ at Menara AHP, TDDI.

just got sick this 'morning' woke up around 1:30pm, a technician is helping me these few days with the customers and testing

a technician of mine tested at Sri Petaling with CINR 22 and getting the same damn thing... 0.4Mbps~ CPE isn't out of this problem~

one explanation could be disconnection or fast changing of IP address that causes low bandwidth though I'll have to at least get better to do further tests~ I am putting 19th Nov before asking for an audience with Amax officially to clear this matter and if that doesn't work, I will go to MCMC~ coz the problem started in 19th Oct as far as I can trace back~
