hmm then I would call them to make noise again. getting tired of missing msn msg.. and dc ing..

Frankly speaking, the amax service for me is getting worse and worse. I have started feelin some sort of dissapointment in it. The frequency of bad service per month is getting higher. I would not dare to take amax again even if it has covered my hometown area in the future.

where is your current area?
How bad is your connection? Please describe in details. We have Amax reseller here. May be he can help you.

I agree~ since 19th Oct till now, bandwidth problem in Sri Petaling and Cheras isn't solved~ it's perfectly great at other places~

Amax network very slow at Sri Petaling right now. Ping yahoo.com takes more than 2000ms to respond.How about the others?

I went to Taman Mayang and the problem there is similar, it seems that this bandwidth problem may not only be in Taman Mayang, Sri Petaling, and Cheras but may be for the whole Amax network~

First of all, my location is Petaling Jaya (Not Sri Petaling) Section 17. My house is fully covered in the amax coverage area.

For my connection, when it's in the normal state, the speed is satisfied, i was able to get 0.9 ~ 1.0mbps speed (I am 1.0mbps student package subscriber). But the problem is, msn message always unable to send and receive normally. Second, the connection always suddenly down when I'm loading websites. I always need to refresh the page or even close all the browser and restart browser only can continue surfing internet. Third, for several times the connection just suddenly become very unstable. I check from the amax connection manager there, it repeatly connect and disconnect. Such situation normally lasts for couple hours. And most of the time I was unable to contact with the amax service center. Lastly, another situation is that after I get connected, I was only able to surf the internet "smoothly" for about 2-3 minutes, after that the speed became extremely slow and even not loading anything (even google). I need to manually disconnect and reconnect then only can surf internet for another 2-3 minutes time.

I've never encountered the MSN problem, try upgrading to the latest version~ as for bandwidth problem, it still persists~ I talked to an Amax personnel (must remain annonymous) and he mentioned that he is not aware of the problem although his department is supposed to handle it~ this may be due to them busy with their changing of operating procedure, which is a good thing, but just keeping them too busy these days~
