Some questions:

1) Does it work on rainy day? I hope it's not like astro which is 100% interrupted when there's rain around my place...
2) Does amax 68 package requires 12 months minimum contract?
3) Any bandwidth limit on 7 days trial?
4) Total first time payment for amax 68? (usb modem has to be bought right?)

1) yes, it does, but theoretically weaker with trees blocking your modem's 'line-of-sight' to the transmission tower~

4) RM188 (USB dongle) + RM68 (monthly subscription)

just subscribe amax today, sorry to say it's quite disappointing.
I expect better speed for it. well, maybe it's caused by the signal & location.

my current location : BU8

going to get my refund if the speed its still so slow, even hard to suft lyn smoothly.

i advise u to refund it if it's not suitable~ that's is the reason for a demo~ that's why there are people like us to go to clients homes to test before simply issuing modems~

u're in coverage and should be very strong signal from my experience in Sentul area~

just need to pay 1 month payment for trial and usage~ then after that the registration fees~ contract is 1 year~ take a look at the new & improved packages, they are competitively priced~ feel free to try it~ unlimited usage and no capping, no FUP~ where else can u get this?~

You're basically screwed with megaupload, rapidshare or the like unless you subscribe to the premium package that comes with a static IP.
Reason being, IIRC, Amax uses microwave technology and the ip constantly change.

that's right~ now, users can choose the to fix this problem by subscribing to the RM288 monthly package for static IP 2Mbps~

feel free to download the following file for the latest packages effective from 1st of October as attached with this post~

I will consider if the RM288 static IP comes with 2.4Mbps as how P1 provide to the public.
