Unless u are just a regular surfer,it should be good ISP
Definitely a nono if u intend for Rapidshare or Megaupload downloading as the AmAX IP keep changing as what other subcriber experience

ACtually, I already have an existing account with AMAX. I have not much to complain about it. I gave it to my brother when I switched to DiGi early last month. Regretted that move. So now I need another AMAX connection for myself.

Just checked the website and saw that my area is newly covered. I am interested and would like to be one of the amax user. But, there is some doubts/questions before I apply. tongue.gif

1) Is there any technician come to my house to setup for me after i apply?

2) Do I need to pay the technician?

3) Is there any advance payment?

4) How is the payment/billing process after I apply? (pay to the technician who setup for me for the first time?? By cash? Credit Card?)

5) Can I terminate within 7 days if I feel that it's not suit me? Is it refundable?

Thanks. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

1) no problem, just tell me where is your place and I'll come, up to your available time
2) I can act as your technician, no payment needed
3) advanced payment is 1 month subscription, acting as a deposit
4) after application, you can pay through bank transfer
5) sure, full refund in 2 weeks

The 1.5mbps package seems to be the worthy in my opinion.

out of coverage for your place~ there is a chance if you are at the 3rd floor - 11th floor using the multi-user package or business package modem, called the CPE modem~

feel free to call me up for demo~

nice, how many users does Streamyx have? I can punch in a number and guess... 1.4mil~

I don't think management will leak such info, I don't know such info and I don't think such info matters as Amax is steadily growing and truly offers the speed it promises, and on top of that, no capping, truly unlimited~ feel free to test the 7-days trial~

With 927 subscribers, its market share is still small compared to other players in the broadband game.

But Abdul Ghani is aiming for 10,000 subscribers by end of this year.

With only four months to go, can that be achieved?

This from the STAR,LINK: http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...74&sec=business

And don't get me wrong,i am support Amax, still waiting it come over my home.

what about coverage for setapak, desa sri hartamas and sri hartamas?

hmm...i guess the usual AMAX rep or agents here doing selective business procurement policy.
