Dissapointed. The bad situation starts from afternoon till now (9:06PM) and yet not recovered!
TM's fault, I can confirm 100% coz I have Streamyx wired + wireless and Amax dongle + CPE~ there was a report on the problem of the Kuantan - Balakong - Singapore line that may have caused this~

that depends on how much support we get~ YTLe has 2.5b located for it's Wimax but it hasn't rolled out commercially yet~ Amax has similar allocated funds and has its own strategy and proving good service, unlike expensive services with Fair User Policy and small omnidirectional coverage which has much lower efficiency to cover residential areas as their base tower cannot be placed too near to homes~ bi-directional and multi-transmitter strategy as used by Amax is seen by me as a winning strategy~ it's more efficient and that is one of many reasons why Amax is able to allow Unlimited Usage~ once our sales figures increase, we may be all in a shock at how fast Amax will roll out it's coverage
No offense bro, but your answer had a very big difference with what i saw on Amax website. Until now, Amax still claimed that they can cover entire Klang Valley by 2009, i also received email regarding the coverage issue saying that my area is in their schedule of expansion(Taman Rakan close to SG.Long)
But from your reply, it seems that u don't have confidence for that?

what company thinks is my opinion and speculation from what I see and think~ once something is confirmed, it will be already in the newspapers~ what u read in news is also words chosen to be written by the reporter~ what u hear from someone else is thought out by someone or passed from one person to another~
if Amax chooses to cover the entire Klang Valley by end of this year, I'd say it's superb news~ I didn't say that it isn't possible, I just mentioned that the more supporters, the faster the expansion~ which company doesn't want to expand?
Amax is the rare kind of wireless internet that provides student package RM60 Unlimited access~ no need to pay for modem~
let the people be the judge of whether Amax should be supported or not~ as for me, I'm definitely seeing a bright future and a good support, one of the reason being the good packages provided~

Even Amax's very own 'hometown', TTDI is not fully covered, according to their website.
Oh and I find it strange that TTDI Hills is barely covered since Dato Ghani of Amax lives here.
I wanted to subscribe to Amax a few months back. Went to their TTDI hotspot, was told they will send someone over to check the coverage. I specifically told the guy to call me first before coming. He said okay. Without calling me, their technician came to my house when I was at work. According to my surprised (since he came from out of the blue) family members he did the test in front of the house and in my room.
And that was that. I was thinking of getting a follow-up call or something like that. It's either there's really no coverage or someone's just slacking off.
don't let one bad fruit bring bad name to the whole farm~ allow me to tell u that no ISP is perfect~ take a look at how many threads are up complaining about Streamyx, P1, Celcom, Maxis~ u choose the best one that suits u~ that is my advise~
i apologize on behalf of Amax for the guy going over to your place~
Do you stay at Bukit Damansara, it's not covered yet~

wow can't believe seeing you here.
I'm QIDuo from cari.
Still waiting for coverage for your area? Good luck..
Coverage won't be hard, Amax do own a lot of communication towers~ feel free to take on the 7-days trial and try it~ if u're happy, we're happy and glad that u get Unlimited Usage at a cheap price and that way, our sales will increase and coverage will definitely be better~
