AFTER the AMAX CS asked for your MODEM SN and MAC address, did they change your username & password as well ?

Right now, while using the AMAX USB dongle 1Mbps package, what download speed are you getting ? In kB/s ??

refer to my post earlier, yesterday after I call CS, I got 1mbps in speedtest lo.

been really no customers when the Amax bandwidth was low~ please give Amax a feedback on bandwidth if you receive call from Amax coz feedback to them will certainly be valuable information for them and benefit to us in the end~

Last time I checked was last night and minutes ago, the connection is fast again in Sri Petaling, I hope it's not just this weekend~ no update from Amax technical or sales on this~

maybe they actually take note of the problem but isn't able to solve all places at once~ I hope they do come up and at least tell us something, whether it's congestion or an Amax issue~ just knowing would be of very great importance~

everyone should have their own username and passwords, all dealer passwords are temporary and deleted from the system~

thanks for your feedback~ it seems not all places get back to normal~ last complain and termination was at Shah Alam when the customer got superb signal and low bandwidth although the modem is hanging out of window~

download speed not to bad. but www speed is slow, and getting lost connection often now a days. its like now u surfing playing some facebook game. next ting you know. u have lost the connection.. another reboot of the modem.. oo Iam not using USB Iam on CPE and its external anttina am connected to Channel#0, 2305000kH. my CNIR use to be 20,20 few month ago, b4 they did some dono what change to its system. but now its only yoyoing around 14 - 16 at times it will hit 18.

what piss me off is MSN. you might be chatting with a friend. suddenly all is quiet. you dont get any reply frm your friend.. (what I later found out. the other side have not got your msg or he has reply but you dint get the reply..) if on group chat you will drop out of the chat very frequent.

the reason I wrote fedup.. because I have rebooted the CPE for more then 5 times that day..

for you that is using the USB modem I guess you have to find a good spot for it..if not.. like my CPE even with the external anttina I have to find a good spot and direction to point it.. if not..

wimax is just a baby but how long we have to wait and pay for the bad services and wait for it to improved.. and I dont believe in all this contract you have to sign.. its only use to protect the ISP not the user.. if its services is good. ppl will stay with or with out contract.

I am so confused. Wanted to switch to Amax but read your posts that so many of you having problems with Amax, then read that Streamyx is ok for some of you, but others say it is hopeless. Problem with all ISPs is that they make us sign contract for 12 months, then when we experience problems, it is so hard to make the switch to another ISP. Why should ISP be calling the shots? Why must we sign a contract and after we do the ISP provide us with this type of rotten service but we have to bear with it. Looks like ultimately WE are the losers in this game. I am still with Jaring, still annoyed with their service but it looks like no choice, there is no other better service provider.

You're absolutely right. All the ISPs are the same. At least in Malaysia, customers are always the losers.

Can you go to Wimax->Settings->DM Command Setup, Please copy and paste the Initial DM Command.

Initially i have 4 lines of commands
Can you give me all of them? I need to store these commands.
