may i know which shop u get the ps3 console? not from sony rite?

i got a problem. when im using wired connection on my ps3, the ps3 shows ip address is obtained, but internet connection fail. how come?

maybe router block the ps3 ... firewall perhaps?

Guys, just wanted to ask. I was playing LBP just now when it suddenly switch off by itself and there's red light keep on blinking. When I tried to switch it off and on again, it still blink and 3 beep. Is there something wrong with the PS3?

if that the case, your lens is dead. i think you got conned and got a refurbished lens in your ps3 instead of a new lens.

Alright folks, my nightmare PS3 first day is luckily solved.

Went back to the shop and the auntie agreed to change a new unit for me. Just so you guys know i bought from the game shop downstairs in Subang Parade, the shops name is multimedia something also known as C.K.

IMO, She's quite trustworthy as she always convince me that everything there is new is like her shop policy that they never open anything to try and don't even accept trade-in.

One weird thing though, she asked me not to register my new unit until she tells me because something about getting sony to clear the old unit first.

Abit bummer as the main thing to getting a PS3 is obviously the easy internet access.

What do u mean by "not to register your unit until she tells you"? Warranty via Online...? Better Register the console via online ASAP..because the auntie sounds fishy..there`s must be something wrong with it..i mean the console may be already been used or registered before by someone..in other words refurbished unit...

yeah ... when u 1st turn on the ps3 got the screen asking u to connect ur controller and all or not?

aiyo friend..all ps3 like that larr..each time on , they must be msg asked press PS button..i think u mean , when turn it on first time , there`s initial setup rite ( set time , date , timezone , username etc. )

u register Malaysian PSN id? then no PSN store yet...

just register SG PSN id, u can access SG PSN store to download demo n stuff

because she is first class con-woman, thats why.
