How about billy bombers? I've tried botak jones and for the most part their food is quite good for the price, except for their steaks which isnt so nice, abit too tender for me.

Btw, anybody know where i can buy ori pc games for cheap or are the prices regulated for all shops?

Who ask you go job hopping, singapore labour laws would clearly state together with your employer if you job hop, u kena penalty. This is to protect simgapore employer since if everybody did what u did, then no work will be done.

They must have cleared your tax file when you quit and taxed you as a non-resident.

If you had remained in Singapore after you quit (and stayed past the resident threshold period), I think you can write a letter to the Comptroller of Internal Revenue and ask for a re-assessment of your tax for that year as a tax resident.

go to IRAS website to contact them (through feedback or email)
they need some proof on your new job though, ie: new work pass/employment letter/employment verification letter.
i got the cheque after appeal about 3-4 weeks.

The Marina Bay Sands IR might be in a spot of trouble... it seems that the parent, Las Vegas Sands, might be unable to service its loans.

Just wondering for those who are renting a room from your landlord, has your landlord or fren who is staying with ever explicitly told you that you cannot use the kitchen untensils?

Coz just this morning i was eating my cereal then the mofo china fella come and scolded me for using the bowls saying they are his, odd thing is i've used them before and he never said anything about it b4.

Dude, why do you have a bone to pick with job-hopping. This is not backwards time where people still work for one company for the rest of their life due to some misguided loyalty.

I just wrote to IRAS. Hopefully I'll get it settled soon. Will update with good news once it's cleared.

Wow, 3 jobs already? No difficulties with obtaining EP and all the paperwork? That gives me hope, quitting one job is not the be all and end all of life.

Thanks all for the helpful replies. Appreciate it.

Hopefully you will learn from this experience that there are repercussion to job hopping, especially in singapore since the government labour laws on foreigners are quite strict. Doesnt mean you cant job hop, just have to expect that its not as simple and clear cut.

Just get your PR first before you hop. Makes life so much easier.

Just bear with it as you are staying with other people. I myself prefer to use my own utensils. It is quite horrible to get a landlord like yours.

City Hall where got left side exit? U either go straight to the escalator to Raffles City or turn right to Suntec or Marina Square via Citylink Mall... Correct me if I am wrong.
