Guys,
Hope this thread is not dead yet.....are those in the list legitimate? I want to learn authentic martial arts, which I don't know how to verify. Forgive me for my rudeness if I made some bad remark. Thanks~! This post has been edited by NoComment222: Jun 11 2014, 07:28 PM |

I mean page 20 list of martial arts schools particularly:
Oriental Martial Arts Cheras Aikido Francis Dojo Bandar Utama Tanaka Ryu jujitsu Taman Cannaought Smash I am seeking to continue learning Aikido, please do inform me if you know authentic ones. As for the martial arts schools above, I chose them because I need to learn some other styles and weaponry (as I found myself blur when facing a small stick >.<) Thank you!!! |

FYI
Hi everyone, after learning for a year, i am so lucky to know that the spirit and techniques of International/Traditional of Jujutsu is still passing down by Professor Grandmaster Kam Hock Hoe after so many years. Only at Puchong Bandar Puteri Pls contact me through email : eugene_divine@hotmail.com **A little intrdoduction of who is the grandmaster: Mr Kam Hock Hoe, who on 23 June 1980 was recognised as a jujutsu Grand Master by the Singapore Judo Federation and Malaysian Judo Federation. He was known to his students as 'Professor' Kam. Born in Malaya in 1903, Mr Kam Hock Hoe became a professional wrestler in 1925 and commenced his jujutsu training in 1928 under a Japanese teacher named Professor Watanabe. He became known on the South East Asian wrestling circuit as 'Panther' Hoe because of his quick and effective movements, and in the early 1930s wrestled throughout South East Asia, East Asia and South Asia. During this period he also took up the pursuit of boxing and continued his jujutsu training under Professor T. Yamanaka in Shanghai. After further jujutsu training in Kyoto, Japan in 1933 he was awarded sandan honours. After his studies in Japan, Mr Kam Hock Hoe returned to Malaya and in 1935 he founded Hoe's Ju-Jitsu Studio in Kuala Lumpur. Between 1935 and 1941 he also taught boxing and self-defence training to the Malay police forces. When Malaya was invaded by the Japanese on 7 December 1941 formal jujutsu classes were suspended by Mr Kam Hock Hoe. Hostilities ceased in Malaya in September 1945, and, in 1947, he recommenced formal jujutsu classes at premises in old Port Kalang, Malaya. In 1956 Mr Kam Hock Hoe moved to Penang, Malaya and shortly after founded the International Ju-Jitsu Institute. In 1958 he also commenced classes at the Royal Australian Air Force base at Butterworth, just across from Penang. This post has been edited by Eugene8989: Jul 18 2014, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(Eugene8989 @ Jul 18 2014, 10:30 AM) FYI Professor Kam passed away years ago, the current sensei is either Leong Shihan or Michael Sensei. It is quite misleading if you said that "is still passing down by Professor Kam after so many years". Just a little correction, hope you don't mind.
