in terms of UV CCFL....

"UV" IS the color...it looks like purple but its not...they may look the same but the light spectrum is different...

if u wanna buy purple ccfl... look for "purple" on the packaging..(or any other color for that matter...)

if u wanna buy UV CCFL....look for "UV" on the packaging...

Guys,do you have any problem running main cable trunk from the PSU behind the motherboard plate.Find cables get a bit frayed due to contact with metal sides.I know it looks neater from the front side but don't want to short my system.

they wont.

masking tapes dont.
infact masking tapes actually cleans off any dirt..

i actually use masking tape to clean off certain hardwares.. like gc cooler etc..

i always prefer every wire to be hold down by masking tapes.. dont like wires/molex etc to stack on each other..
this is to prevent side panel deformation and any long term pressure.

masking tape WILL leave a residue... i can confirm this myself...as i had to buy a bottle of expensive Goo Gone to get rid of the residue on my car windscreen
anyway...ANY form sticky tape is NOT a good idea for cable sleeving....its a friggin horrendous idea...why are u so insistent on it?? theres a whole lot more cons than pros

if u dont wanna do sleeving properly, ge tthe spiral wraps or the cable wraps. no molex removaal required.....hell of alot easier to do than taping the cables and with better effect.

tapes will be srticky, ur cables will be ridiculously stiff.. and believe me its gonna be fugly. especially if u use masking tape.

dude
having masking tape on windscreen which goes true hot/cold on malaysian climate is plain stupid..

masking tapes leaves no residue for alu casing..
been doing this a long time. and with me who change casing/hardware on sometimes monthly to yearly basis can atest to this.
