well I thought of using duct tapes to stick up the wires as an alternative, but are there anything to know before using duct tapes?

how will it affect??
seriously i want to sleeve, but then using sleeves itself will require us users to remove molex and SATA power

and btw, why is it at the wrong section?

I wouldn't want to use duct tape. Due to the hot temperature in the casing, the tape will leave it's sticky residue in the long run, really messy.

Go for velcro wraps, they are the best in terms of neatness and re-usability.

i'm using the Cooler Master HAF 932 casing which is very well-ventilated
i dont think the temperature is a problem though

Even though it is not hot, duct tape will still leave sticky residues.

For example, plaster to wrap your wounds. After you apply and leave it for few hours, or days, when you peel it off, you will feel sticky on that part right?

why dont u use cable ties? it's alot easier to put and easier to remove biggrin.gif... but if u insist on using duct tape, first cover it with loy tape... that way the residue from the duct tape wont stick onto the wire but the loy tape itself smile.gif

Possibly no, they won't reject tongue.gif But if you just want to RMA, just cut all the cables if you're afraid they are going to reject it. Well, cable sleeving will obviously be rejected for RMA doh.gif

Alternatively should have bought psu with sleeved ready. The best bang for buck is gigabyte superb 550w which is around rm 170 with fully sleeved cabling. I've tried sleeved my acbel psu using vantec sleeve kit. Is a very messy task and you need proper tool to remove the molex pin. Worst is removing those 20 or 24 atx power pin. Use cable tie is the cheapest alternative which the least mess because duct tape will stick dust and dirty and times goes by.

masking tape WILL leave a residue... i can confirm this myself...as i had to buy a bottle of expensive Goo Gone to get rid of the residue on my car windscreen

anyway...ANY form sticky tape is NOT a good idea for cable sleeving....its a friggin horrendous idea...why are u so insistent on it?? theres a whole lot more cons than pros

if u dont wanna do sleeving properly, ge tthe spiral wraps or the cable wraps. no molex removaal required.....hell of alot easier to do than taping the cables and with better effect.

tapes will be srticky, ur cables will be ridiculously stiff.. and believe me its gonna be fugly. especially if u use masking tape.
