Hi all, my most humble apology for my ‘disappearance’ during the long weekend. I was in town but just unable to go online and post comments on T-amp at LYN forum. Reason being my notebook PC infested with spywares since Friday night and whenever I went online, I’d be unable to open the relevant page of websites I wanted to as the spywares would immediately take over and start sending out (instead of receiving) huge packets of bytes (info). I’ll need to take care of this before further postings.

Traffic into the city on last Saturday was bad with massive jam everywhere; reached JP at 16.30 and managed to buy a 12VDC 2.5A computer-styled SMPS plus other some tools and items I needed but missed out picking up a DC socket (as I wanted a round shaped unit), so failed to listen to my T-amp. I will hunt for one these 1 – 2 days’ time and in the meanwhile only worked with my too thick Rosewood casing.

Vishay BC 0.1uF 63V and 0.47uF poly caps arrived from Farnell S’pore today, now only awaiting for Vishay BC 20k ohm 1% metal film resistors from Newark, New York over the next couple of days before I could hand them to Xtorm and Jazzy. I managed to picked up some Vishay BC 2.2uF 63V 10% tolerance polypropylene caps, got 3 pcs extra to spare as I only need 2, anyone? PM or sms me.

It's RM180 for the whole thing including shipping to Malaysia, the RM170 price was few months ago price, my friend just help me confirm that it's RM180, sorry for the confusion. For those guys who are interested to get a extra thick gold plated copper rca socket along with the casing, just RM25 a pair(2 sockets)

If interested then should grab it If u dont want amp casing, the supplier got DAC casing, headamp casing with similiar design too!

haha, my supplier too can do something like tht, fully customize to our taste, but atlest 10 to start it

it will cost nearly 40-45 each.... and thats the chip only. since it is not smd type, its really easy to work with

as you guys know, china is all about fake, even fake IC and cheapest stuff you can find are no quality at all, if i wan it good i rather get it qc tested before sending it to me

GC kind cheap too...but the only overkill is the power supply part...

well from review mostly mention slightly wider soundstage and thicker sounding, which i think it is why it sounded natural.

duno if the balance thingy have the same effect...

but 1 thing tho...his head unit is giving out alot of aeroplane noise, any filter i can use to cut tht?

if we meet dificulties we take it slow, its hobby anyway!

slowly doing it so we get the thing we want!  

goto almost max the head unit for really loud listening, which is kinda unbearable, max volume 63, we on till 60 tak boleh tahan the ear ...but his cd player is low end type, so output voltage so so only, andthis wasnt active setup, just plain component speaker with crossover, he is definitely edicted! but goto solve the aeroplane sound issue....
i think pretty much t-amp limit, ngam ngam

i got a damn noisy car too, was into performance last time but its still loud enough...
